Soy Dream Soymilk, Enriched Vanilla, 32 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I've been drinking soy milk nearly every day for about 25 years now. I've seen product brands and flavors that I love come and go. When a flavor or variety is discontinued, I start a search for another that will take its place. I've been drinking chocolate Soy Dream now for about 5 years and I can tell you, it's one of the best ever made! I was so sad when I found out 2 years ago that no store in my large metropolitan area was carrying the chocolate flavor of Soy Dream anymore. I was extremely surprised and overjoyed when a relative told me I could find it at Amazon! If you read the labels of other chocolate soy milk brands, you'll find that most of them only have 5 grams of protein per serving. Soy Dream has 7 grams of protein, along with a significant amount of calcium and other essential nutrients that people who choose not to use products derived from animals may find harder to get. The flavor is rich and fulfilling, providing everything you are looking for in a "glass of chocolate milk." Imagine is one of the only companies left that still packages chocolate soymilk in the "aseptic" containers, designed for long-term shelf life. Even after opening it, it lasts in the fridge a week or more. A lot of the newer varieties out there come only in a half-gallon size, which is harder to use up before it expires. Then you have to go back to the store to replenish it. We go through 1-2 containers of chocolate Soy Dream per week, so a case lasts about 2-3 months. I love this product...have been using it for years. It is impossible to find in stores anymore, so I was thrilled to find it online at amazon.com. I have a standing order for it. BUT--only about half of the orders come through intact. Sometimes they arrive to us leaking through the box...sometimes UPS returns it on our behalf before it even gets to us. I have notified amazon about this problem, but I just found out today that UPS returned the latest shipment. This is ridiculous.

Being a woman going through menopause, it's a hard road to travel. Everyone is different, so do and some don't have symptons. For me, the emotional roller coaster is the worst. I had been put on 1 mg. of a hormone supplement,but that just didn't do much. I put myself on lots of vitamins and they did help some. It was not until I discovered I could not drink regular milk (carraganan problem), that I tried soy milk. Well, "Silk" also has the ingredient that I can not tolerate...so..I went to the health food store and found this wonder soy milk!! No only is does it taste wonderful (who doesn't like chocolate), but it help alot with my menopause. I did some research and found out Soy is great to help treat the symptons...of course my doc. did not tell me this!! Anyway, I am not a tri-monthly customer of Amazon and I get a 12 carton case every three months..I am so glad Amazon has it..I also save 2.00 per carton and get FREE SHIPPING!!Now that a great deal!!

Soy Dream product has the best flavor of any soymilk on the market.The packaging by Soy Dream was good, however Amazon's packagingwas bad. The first order was not delivered by UPS because of damage.The replacement order made it to me okay somehow, Amazon's shouldknow that a 24 pound liquid package cannot be packaged in a bigger boxwith only around 4 sheets of newspaper as packing, even though theSoymilk product was wrapped in bubble wrap. This bubblewrap wasflattened on the long side because the outer package was 2200 cubicinches and the soymilk box was only 980 cubic inches, leaving a lotof space for the soymilk box to move around.

Well, This was a new experience. My brother has ordered Soy Dream Vanilla Enriched milk for quite some time now. I've loved it and i figured I should give it a try. I ordered it and waited. Two days later (Amazon Prime), I received a text from Amazon saying that the package could not be delivered and that the package broke.I waited a bit and decided that the best thing to do would be to try to return the milk. I was about to go online and return it when I received a call from an area code of the city I live in. I picked up and heard the following:"What are you THINKING!? I could have you evicted for this!!" --> My landlord called me and told me that the package of milk spilled all over their office upon delivery.Now I have no milk, AND an angry landlord. Not what I imagined would happen.Stars and review will be changed when I receive a new 12 pack of Soy Dream Vanilla Enriched Milk.

I ordered this because I love soymilk and was looking to get some in Bulk as I am trying to lose weight and love soymilk for weight loss reasons.Now on to the problem I had which is why I am giving this one star. Just grab it from your grocery store.When I got this item it was busted and there was soymilk all over in the packaging(inside the plastic, the box was all bendable from soaking) in fact the soy must have busted early in the process because it all smelled really bad from it rotting in the heat and packaging. If you want to take the risk go for it, but I am staying away from ordering soymilk on Amazon any longer.I also must commend Amazon on the quick refund and amazing customer service with help in this matter.

I bought this one thinking, hmm, larger box, less waste. But the subscribe and save option was discontinued. Pffft.Also, the box weighs a ton--I forgot to read that on the shipping...lol!I guess the 8 oz. will do fine for now.
