Excellent deck sealer and restorer
Amazon offers this Dek finish for a much better price than availabe at the local painting stores. It has always been shipped very well packed and no fuss. We buy it frequently to keep the deks new for out moutain hom

Very effective
This stain is very toxic however it is very effective. If the vapor from it gets in your eye then your eye will burn and tear. Don't worry you won't go blind. It already happens to me twice when I painted at two different times. Just rinse your eyes and give it fresh air. I highly recommend that you buy goggles. Also buy a filter because you don't supposed to be inhaling the fume either.It brought my dead deck back to life again. I recommend that you pressure wash your deck first and then let it dry for 48 hours. Make sure at least one day of full sunlight. Then before you paint vacuum the deck and make sure you use a drill and a mixer bit to mix the paint very well. Then use a brush that is designed like a broom and paint the entire deck. You don't have to do all of it in one day.

WOOD LOOKS GREAT!
I have been using this product (under the Sikkens Brand) for 25+ years. It takes 2 coats on raw wood to get the proper coverage. THIS IS AN OIL BASE PRODUCT! I doubt the water base product is as good as this (have not used it). This is more expensive than the water base. Read the description carefully if you want the oil based. Brush application works best. I had ZERO luck using a Home Depot Stain/Deck garden type sprayer.

Best on the market
This is the best translucent product available for decks. You must recoat every other year to maintain coating and keep it looking new. If you are not up for that do not use this product because if you allow it to fail it will be a mess. Only downside is that it can be a little slippery.

We have purchased this product for several years on a number of projects.
Good coverage; just be carefull not to leave any drips which dry to a darker shade. Holds water out of the wood very well for years.
