My bark yard abuts a wooded area here in Florida. We have a lot of hawks, eagles (even American Bald Eagles), and Ospreys. Of course, all those hawks come around when they see my small dog in the back yard, who I watch like a hawk (pun intended). My dog likes to float on the pool in a pool float that has a shade canopy. So, I thought I would try attaching these "hawk eyes" to the canopy with magnet, and see if that deters the hawks. I have found that it really works. The hawks fly over, circle, catch sight of the "hawk eyes" and move on. Now, would I leave my dog unattended even with this product? Absolutely not. But it is a deterrent that gives me a couple extra seconds to respond in case a hawk decides it wants to eat my dog for lunch.

I don’t have the coyote vest but we don’t have coyotes here but I’m worried about birds of prey as there is an eagles nest across the road. I put the hawk eyes and whiskers on his tactical vest. Hopefully they will scare off birds of prey. Only issue is the cats think he’s a toy now and are attacking him because of the whiskers.The whiskers were a pain to put together. Only two fit on the jacket as he’s small.
