AVONAnew Ultimate Night Repair Serum | Anti-Aging Night Serum With Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, and Peptides

I'm glad for the opportunity to try this night serum. I'm on the fence about it. The smell is good. My skin hasn't reacted to it. I've only used lotions before so this dropper style application is new to me. The weight of the serum is okay. It seems to soak into the skin fine. Not having a regular skin routine, they do say to put this on between washing your face and moisturizing your face. Naively, I thought this serum replaced moisturizer.

Not exactly the results I hoped for.

Goes on smooth and helps my skin feel hydrated and soft.

I reordered this product for my mom who received it as a gift a year agoThe bottle I got for her only lasted a month how could that be ?? She thinks she received a bottle from Amazon that was used and not fullWe won’t order it again

This Avon serum is really nice! It has a luxury look and feel, and includes a list of great active ingredients. It combines peptides, HA, Niacinamide, and Licorice to provide hydration, minimize fine lines, and improve skin's tone and texture.I like that the bottle is capped, and includes the dropper as a separate piece (which can also replace the cap.) The serum has a pleasant consistency and light scent. I do find the fragrance a bit unnecessary. I would prefer no fragrance, but that's just me.This soaked into my skin easily, and does not leave it looking or feeling oily or sticky. So far I have not had any negative reactions from using it. When I wake up, my skin does really look more bright and plumped/hydrated. I'm going to keep using it as part of my nighttime skincare routine!

When did Avon get to be so expensive? As a Vine participant, I didn't have to pay the $45, but that price strikes me as a bit high for this line and for something that is relative ordinary.Now to the product itself--well, I'd say that the claim, and I quote: "Overnight, skin looks smoother, firmer and brighter" is more than a bit of advertising hyperbole. Overnight? Nope, that didn't happen "overnight" or even with a couple weeks use, though at my age I don't really expect those claimed quick "look younger" improvements. Still, it's okay as a moisturizer, though no better than what I'd expect from something from the corner store for half the price.So, here's some specific complaints--the list of ingredients is long, very, very long, and printed in tiny gold print on a black box which makes it all but impossible to read. Okay, well, difficult to read. The first ingredient is water. It contains preservatives and a bunch of chemically sounding things which are too hard to read and too many to look up! So I am really not sure what I am using. Yes, the Amazon product page listed the key ingredients, but not all of the many other. I wish Amazon required its sellers to list every ingredient in cosmetic and food products.Next complaint--no safety seal on either the box it came in or on the product itself. This concerned me. I tested it first on a small area on my wrist, and when no terrible reaction happened, I guessed it would be safe to use. Still it seems to me to be a bit careless of Avon not to have some kind of safety seal.I guess as I write this, I realized I have to admit I just really didn't like this product. It seems to be more hype than benefit. Sorry, Avon.

This Avon Anew Ultimate Night serum is lightweight and is supposed to work while I am sleeping. I haven't used it long enough to notice any results, but it is easy to use and hasn't caused me any irritation.

This serum does what it says, and diminishes fine lines and physically and visibly improves the appearance of the skin. It seems to lift and puff the skin, which is what I would expect in an expensive serum. However I found that when used as directed, it didn't absorb as well as I would have liked. The directions say to use a moisturizer after applying this. Since it didn't absorb readily, and I didn't want the moisturizer to mix in with it, I waited at least half an hour before applying moisturizer. It left my skin feeling very greasy and I had to wipe some of it off so it didn't get all over my pillows. For the following two nights I used this product on its own. I really like how it makes my skin look and feel younger instantly, however I do not care for the greasy feel. I could not wear this in the daytime because I do not care for the "dewy" look. Good thing it's a night serum.
