Slap-tastic!
I'd never heard of this game before, so wasn't sure what it was going to be like. It's very similar to 'Snap', but with a few extra rules.Firstly, you put the foam tortilla in the middle, shuffle the cards, and split evenly face down between the players. It says the person who most recently ate a burrito goes first, but we just let the youngest player start. You take it in turns turning over cards in a pile in the middle, and the quickest person to get their hand down on a 'Burrito' card gets to slap the slowest player with the foam tortilla. The slowest player also has to add the card pile to theirs. There are 70 'No Burrito' cards included, which are pictures of tortillas filled with random stuff like a foot or jigsaw pieces etc. These you mustn't react to, or you get a tortilla slap. However, if 2 of the same 'No Burrito' cards are laid down, then like 'Snap' you want to put your hand on it fastest, as the slowest player gets a slap, and has to add the cards to their pile. There are also 3 'Whackamole' cards included, and these you definitely want to get your hands on first, as it allows you to use 2 slaps on whoever you want!Once you have 1 card left, you have to shout 'Tortilla' and once you have successfully laid your card down, you have won.It took us a few games to get used to the rules, but after that it's really fun and fast paced. We played with 5 players, and that worked well, I think if you just had 2 it wouldn't be as fun.2 of our players were kids, so we did have to take a bit extra time and give them a chance at getting their hands on cards etc or it wouldn't have been fair. They thought it was hilarious, I mean hitting each other with a foam tortilla, what's not to love?!The quality and attention to detail of everything, including the packaging, is great. It would make a great gift, and perfect for family gatherings/parties, young and old, anyone can pretty much play.I do think after a while, the novelty might wear off a bit, or things could get out of hand a little and cause some arguments, but overall it's a great game.

Tortilla slap game
This game is lots of fun at first but it did get boring quite fast. The tortilla is a soft sponge material but seems quite strong. The game essentially is snap but if you get tortillas you pick up the wrap and slap the other person. For nearly £17 I think it's overpriced. It was good fun at first but we found it didn't keep us entertained for long.

Fun, fast paced game is over in 20 minutes.
Tortilla Slap is a fun game for many ages. The recommendation is ages 6 and up. I would say it depends on the 6-year-old, but I’m thinking probably more like 8 and up. I like that playing this game involves a simple set up and rules that are easy to learn. It’s perfect for a party, for a family game involving kids with short attention spans, or just a quick game for some family fun. I enjoyed playing with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons. You do need quick reflexes, which I was lacking, but my sweet grandsons barely grazed me. Anyway, the tortilla doesn't hurt if you use it as intended, and not with your hand behind it. It’s just a fun and silly game, not to be taken too seriously.I like that the game can be put away in a small, compact box. I found the easiest thing to do is keep the long piece of cardboard reinforcement to place in the center of the tortilla and then add the cards. Now fold it like a burrito and the cards stay and place and you can simply slip it back into the narrow box. We didn’t think it was a big deal that the tortilla wasn’t perfectly flat. It flattens out enough to serve its purpose of adding a little bit of humor.

better than a real tortilla
My grandsons saw someone slapping someone with a real tortilla on social media and thought it was hilarious. I can't condone wasting food, especially a good tortilla. I am not keen on the slapping issue either but with this game, it isn't painful and is meant to be fun. My 12 and 6 year old grandson's play this and have a great time. I would like to complain about the box, but honestly, I am the one who ends up cleaning it up when they leave so I can put it away just fine.

Fun, quick game
This is a fun, quick game to play. It does take a while to get all the rules straight and when to slap what and when someone takes the middle pile. It is also a game that needs to be played at a round table if there are more than 4 players, because everyone needs to be able to see and slap the pile. It is fun and you can quickly complete a game.

So much fun
Played this with some adult family members and a teenager and everyone had a blast. Took a few minutes to learn what to do depending on what cards come up, but we got the hang of it. The foam tortilla is hilarious. We did discover that if you bend it certain ways it can hurt a bit, so be careful. I highly recommend this for friends and family get-togethers.

Fun and funny
I was just introduced to this game about a year ago and it's hilarious. Though normally you would play with a real tortilla, the fake one is better because it doesn't fall apart like a real tortilla. Fun game for parties and groups, but it does get old quickly.
