This is probably the slickest, most creative and useful case I've ever had for a phone. It is both durable and feels good to the touch. The 360-ring stand is a brilliant innovation, and I can't say enough good things about it!There is one fatal flaw in the design of this product (AND I'VE INCLUDED A FIX BELOW), and that is that the action button (and the power button, to a lesser extent) is on too much of a hair trigger. It will often "go off" when you brush the side of the case, even along the glass edge.They included extra buttons, which pop out of the case and are interchangeable. Each replacement button has a small, black film (like a sticker) on the back. Pull off that film and replace the buttons in the case and VOILA! It works perfectly. No need to remove the buttons, as some reviewers have resorted to. This tiiiiny, tiny change is all that is required to make the case fully functional.THE GOOD: This case is lightweight, ergonomic, and a pleasure to hold. It feels like it has robust protection, and I've already tested a few drops, which it handled with ease. It works excellently with Mag-Safe products, and attaches right to recharging stations. I've tested the charges, and it looks like the wattage transfer is not impeded by the case (slow charge was around 6 watts, which is great). The 360-degree ring works wonderfully, and you really can hold this phone at about any angle and it will keep its shape.The OKAY: Because the ring uses a pivot hinge, sometimes it will "click" when you pull the phone away from a magnet base if you've rotated this hinge to the top of the circle. This isn't a flaw and it's not a problem, but I could imagine that this could lead to unnecessary wear of the hinge if you commonly use magnets.The BAD: As previously mentioned, the buttons (especially the Action button) are on a hair trigger if you use the case as-is out of the box. My simple fix solves this issue without problem, but I almost returned this case when I first tried it because I didn't even see the "extra" buttons in the box (and who checks a phone case for instructions??). This is an easy fix that you can do right at home, but hopefully they will start shipping these with the film removed so everyone can plug-and-play right out of the box.This case had me so impressed when I first used it that I was determined to find a way to get the buttons to work, even if that meant shaving down the plastic or metal components. Luckily the thin film was enough of a change to make them work. Do not hesitate to buy this; I can't imagine another design adding more flexibility, usability, or protection without weight than this one.5 stars!

The ring on the case is a feature I didn’t know I needed until now. It came in really handy when making a FaceTime call with my mom. I could prop the phone on my table and talk without having to hold the phone. I was also able to stick the phone to the refrigerator during the call. Very convenient.The ring has a strong hinge that keeps the ring at whatever angle you set it at and rotates so the phone can be propped up vertically or horizontally at just about any angle.The ring also works great for securely holding the phone in your hand. The ring is snaps back satisfyingly flush into the case. With the ring in place, the case is no thicker than the Apple silicone case.The magnets on the ring are very strong and securely holds the phone to MagSafe chargers as well as metal surfaces such as a refrigerator.The back of the case is a bit smooth, and the sides have a bit of texture making it easy to keep a grip on the phone.The buttons fit well and provide good tactile “click” when pressed, unlike some cases that tend to have mushy button covers. The green and gold button caps are a nice touch. I would like to see more color options, perhaps as an accessory purchase.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.Oh yeah, it also does a good job of protecting the camera from drops.

The case is great; very useful as a stand or a carry device; very versatile and well built.My ring broke after a year of heavy duty use. Corresponding with customer service was quick, efficient and productive and i had a replacement case on my doorstep a few days later. Will definiteliy stay with the company in my case needs going forward

I almost bought a version of this case whose handle didn’t rotate because it was cheaper. Glad I did not!This is worth the extra cost

Unexpectedly, I found myself in a truck to Minnesota and remodeling an Airstream. 5,200 miles later, I am grateful for my Torras case. I work as a designer and programmer these days, but every now and then I have a few weeks living the way I used to, as a cowboy and a home builder. This year, the call was an airstream that my wife found near the Canadian border and so I shut down the VR project I was working on, got the keys for her truck , put my electric unicycle behind the seat and headed for a fishing cabin in Minnesota where there was a 1969 airstream sunk in the mud behind the woodshed. 5200 miles later and a lot of work on the side of the road, I arrived in California to a very happy life partner and set my phone on the counter just grateful that I still had it. Most people have no idea what a big deal that was. From the point of view of a designer the beauty of an iPhone is in the way a million connections arise seamlessly and fit near perfectly into a persons life. However, when it’s back to the field, I still love the phone, but with every glove I take off to make a call, the occasional tendency of maps to guide your rig into a dead end, and especially all the falls, drops, and flips. In the mud and in the rain, I really cursed those fluid curves which seemed to evade every dry pocket I could find to put it in. The only break I got in any of those 5,200 miles was that my Torras case arrived for my slippery new 15. I do not know how many times it fell out of my pocket and hit the asphalt, I do not know how many times it fell out of the truck, fell off a bumper, or a meter box or even got stepped on. About all I can say is that when I got home, I found what I called about a scratch and half on the screen and not a mark or a nick anywhere else. Your product did everything it promised and even kept the pressure off the Apple screen when the phone got in trouble. And me, back at my desk, both the case and the phone show not a mark of journey.
