Birds love it!
This was a great buy for the money. My birds and woodpeckers love it so it's a hit.You get 18 for a small amount of money. In the stores they usually are over $2.00 a piece. There is usually more nuts etc. in them but our birds don't see the difference.

Load all the suet in the freezer making it easy to fill the feeder
Great choice from a small business which is very important these days. Delivered quickly and the birds love it especially in the winter.

Best bang for your buck
I bought 2 boxes, I to gift and one to keep. These are a great value for sure. The birds seem ok with them so far. Although they aren’t disappearing as fast as other suet blocks I’ve used in the past

My birds like Heath suet
My local store stopped selling Heath Suet. Tried the new brand they were selling but the birds were not eating it. Found it on Amazon and the birds were back in droves. It has also attracted Pileated Woodpeckers, mom, dad and their young one.

Birds like it but melts in 100-degree F weather
Just in case anyone in my SW desert region (or one with similar temperatures) is wondering, yes, these suet cakes melt when the heat gets to 100+ degrees Fahrenheit. I learned the hard way. They are dripping from two suet feeders as I type this out. I will take care to just put these cakes out during the time of year when it doesn’t get warmer than 90 degrees daily. Overall, these cakes are a good value and my local birds seem to enjoy them when the cakes aren’t liquifying.

Best Value
We have 5 feeding stations in our yard/garden holding 2 suet blocks each. It takes a whole case of blocks to fill them and provide food to our feathery friends for 6-8 days. I used to buy them at local hardware/feed stores and get them for .79 - .89 /block. Now I'm lucky to find them at twice that price. So I started checking online and found these here at Amazon. High quality, as good as Audubon but at a much better price. These come 18/box and so are running at just over a dollar each. Excellent packaging that opens without a knife. This is the best value I've found for clean, high quality, full-sized blocks. BUY THESE!

Thinner than most suet cakes
I was surprised to see how much thinner these are than most commercial suet cakes. The packaging is 1.25" thick as advertised, but the suet itself is barely 1", if that--obviously skinnier than C&S or Ace Hardware suet. It claims to be the same weight, but definitely is not the same volume. In my bird feeder, it looks like the birds have been working on it for a couple of days...and they haven't come to it yet. While the price seems good, it's actually not any better than other brands because you're getting so much less. I can't speak to the quality of the product or whether the birds are going to eat it, but I definitely would not buy it again.
