Cable that does what it is made for

I got this cable so I could move my usb hub which has a very short lead from my desk to the cable management tray below. Everything seemed to work except my keyboard, we will get to that later.The cable looks and feels sturdy, and does the job as a cable extension. The sockets fit snugly and overall I'd say it is a good extension cable.Now back to the keyboard situation. You see, USB-C performance can be affected by the length of the cable. In fact USB operating specifications limit the maximum length of the cable to 5 meters (16 feet) for full speed devices and 3 meters (10 feet) for any low speed devices.My keyboard was already connected with a coiled 3 meter cable, so adding another 2 meters meant that the keyboard wouldn't work with the coiled cable.Outside of the length issue, it's a good product.

This cable comes in a simple packaging and looks stable and durable due to its woven fabric around it.I tested it with my MACBOOK PRO and HUAWEI MATEBOOK X PRO and both devices charged quickly.As it supports 100W it also charged quickly while I played a video and had 100% brightness and volume turned on. Cheaper cables do not deliver enough power.It also supported my USB-C docking station and HDMI was working well with my monitor.I cannot complain and give it a thumbs up.

Cord rated at 100w but in reality power delivery cuts off at 50w or below.

It would simplify identifying the product's capabilities.I tested the 100W PD capabilities with a 100w Dell PowerAdapter and it was able to extend the length of the cable and continue to provide power at that wattage. I also tested this with a Samsung SSD and my speeds were within the 500-600 Mbps range, meaning that it was not bottlenecking my file transfer speed. Meaning that it also transfers data at those USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 (10Gbps) speeds.In conclusion, I can happily recommend the USB-C male-to-female extension. Its top-notch construction, adaptability, and convenient length make it a superb addition to any PC setup.
