I got this for hobby purposes, just to see what kind of wildlife exists in the neighborhood, and it did the job perfectly. I'm really impressed by how good this camera is. I set it up in the greenbelt behind my yard and left it alone for about 3 weeks. At the end of the 3 weeks I had lots of videos of coyotes, possums, raccoons and deer. (unfortunately no bears yet)Motion detection:I honestly expected a lot of false triggers and lots of useless/empty videos due to leaves moving, rain drops, etc. It was not the case. In 3 weeks it recorded about 15 videos, all of which are actual animals, and there was only one false trigger. So I think motion detection performance is perfect. Note that the area I set it up is not very windy, because of that I left the default motion detection sensitivity as default, which is Medium. If you are setting in a windy area you might want to set it to Low.Image Quality:I set the quality to 1080p and the videos/photos turned out pretty good quality. I was especially impressed by the quality of the night videos. The night vision feature on this product is impressive. Most of the videos were shot in the dark, and they were just like grayscale version of a normal video, really high quality for no light condition.Overall I definitely recommend this camera.

The sturdiness and simplicity of this camera is excellent. It's almost TOO simple at times and I overthought how to access certain functions. After some vandalism at a construction site that I monitor, I bought this camera in the hopes of catching vandals returning. We didn't catch them, but we did catch a fox a few times.The camera doesn't capture photos at the best quality, especially if the subject is moving. See attached photos of the fox we captured.Regardless, the camera is easy to setup, both the software and getting it actually set in place. It wasn't too noticeable at night which is great. I would definitely purchase more of these if I needed to.

This camera has a high-definition camera that provides much better picture quality than my previous trail cam. The infrared sensor has a very short time delay which allows for accurate capture of what's happening at the moment the camera detects motion. It even comes with a sturdy metal mount and the ability to strap it to a tree/pole (strap included). Per the picture, you can also see that you can lock the camera to prevent other hunters from getting into the camera and stealing your SD card. Speaking of SD cards, this is perhaps the one downside to this camera- you can only use up to 32GB SD card. Most of my MicroSD cards are 64GB so I had to purchase a smaller one specifically for this device. As long as you use the proper batteries and SD cards, this trail cam will do exactly what you want it to do- give you insight into the types of deer and animals you'll see in your preferred hunting spot. Great for scouting before deer season starts!

Great camera if you are in to hunting or if you have land behind your home to see what is creeping around it during all hours of the day. I definitely love the motion detector as I am trying to find what is destroying my yard. Instructions were very detailed and helpful. Only downside was that I had to purchase my own SD card, but nonetheless, it's a great camera and I would definitely recommend it.

This trail camera works beautifully. The controls are intuitive and do just what you expect. My one complaint is that the adds do not make it clear that the camera will not work without an SD card. They're not that expensive, so I didn't mind getting one, but they should state that the camera, though it has some sort of internal memory, will not work without the card.

The trail cam out of the box appears as advertised. Can’t wait to put this out in the field in a couple of weeks and and get some high quality game pics throughout this year. At this point my only comment for improvement would be to include a memory card so that I could put it right to use.

Do your research! This camera works well, it's easy to operate. But, after about two weeks of use I started getting a message "Check IRLED Battery...". There is nothing in the owners manual that explained this. Nothing in the "Trouble Shooting" section. I checked online and found nothing. The warranty says to contact the company if there are any issues but, there is no telephone number, no address and no website listed in the owners manual. There is no website (that I found) for VENLIFE Trail Cameras. I returned the camera to Amazon because it was within the 30 day window and because I didn't want to take a chance on not being able to exercise the warranty. Do your homework before buying this camera maybe you'll have better luck?

So far the camera is working well. I mainly want to warn other customers to BEWARE OF THE "FREQUENTLY BOUGHT TOGETHER " part. It shows a 32gig SD card being frequently bought with this camera. IT DOESN'T FIT THE CAMERA! You have to get a MICRO SD CARD.
