Excellent
I ordered a 3L, received 2L. Going on a scheduled New Years Day hike and had to have a water bladder. So I can work with 2L. That is why I did notReturn. I had a 3 L and then out of the blue itStarted leaking . Leak must have been microscopic as I could not locate it. Osprey products are superior quality and I wouldHighly recommend any of their products. Since I was in a time crunch toGet a new water bladder for my hike I did not contact Osprey until I had received this one from Amazon. Their products have lifetime warranty and they sent me another water bladder FREE. So I now have a 2L and 3L for longer hikes. The bladder is excellent and I highly recommend! Easy to clean, fits exactly as should in Osprey backpack.

Superb water reservoir 💦💧
I purchased an Osprey 26 hiking backpack so only found it appropriate to also buy an Osprey water reservoir. It was super easy to install and use. The added plastic piece for the support of the reservoir was extremely convenient when sliding the reservoir into the backpack when full of water. The flow of the actual mouth piece was plenty and I did not have to bite down hard at all. The quality is top notch and I didn’t experience any issues with it leaking. The only thing I will say is that I wish it were easier to dry these out so they don’t get moldy. I found that if I take open tongs and insert the ends into the bag and place the bags tilted upside down they did dry out pretty well. Yes I know there are probably better ways to doing this but I’m a first time hiker and learning. 🤣🥺 I decided to throw out the mouth piece after a week worth of hiking as they do sell that separately. Buy this reservoir you won’t regret it! & someone please tell me how to actually dry these things out. 😭

Solid Product Despite Some Lingering Plastic Taste
This is a well built hydration reservoir with nice features for the user. We got 3L reservoirs for my husband and I and 1.5L reservoirs for my two young kids. We have taken them on several hikes so far and they are easy to fill and easy to clean due to the wide opening that spans the whole end of the reservoir. I have had no issues with leaks and the wide opening makes it easy to dry the reservoir if you can force the mouth to stay open. I recommend buying a hydration bladder drying frame, which are inexpensive and make this much easier. The reservoir seems durable so far and survived getting kicked around a muddy kayak without damage. The hose and bite valve are nicely designed and, so long as you remember to flip the shut- off valve, protect from leaks. The hoses are a bit more difficult to clean and dry, however. I bought a specific cleaning kit with a brush for the hose. One con of this reservoir is that, even after several uses, there is a plastic taste to the water. This doesn’t bother me too much but does bother my daughter quite a bit.The 3L fits well in my Gregory Maya 20L pack and in my husband’s Gregory 28L pack. One note, however is that the Osprey reservoirs do not fit on the Gregory packs’ integrated reservoir hanger. This is easily fixed with a rubber band however and was worth it to me for the ease of use of the Osprey reservoir. It does hang on my kids’ REI packs’ integrated hanger. The reservoir itself is super light weight so it doesn’t add much to the weight of the water itself. Lastly, I really like the handle on the reservoir, which makes it easier to hold steady when filling.Overall, a great hydration reservoir and we’re happily hiking with you purchase.

Better than older model ones
This osprey bladder is way better than the older model ones, specifically because it had that rigid part in the back and handle in the front. This makes it really easy to pull out for cleaning or refilling. I also really like the magnet so it clips easily to whatever vest you are using after use. Osprey is a really good brand!

0/10 review If I could!!!
Do NOT buy this cheap water pack! I have used it once. On the second time I went to use it, 10 minutes in it started leaking. Not from the top like you’d expect, but from a teeny tiny pin sized hole at the bottom of the bag. It leaked throughout my backpack, all down my back and ruined a couple items. No idea how this happened but if I were to guess, terrible quality. Such a shame because these bags used to be so durable and trusty. I ended up freezing and having to leave the mountain early because I was soaking wet in 8° weather. Will be requesting to return this item ASAP.

Improved since previous gen, highly recommend
Replaced another older 2L Osprey bag and have appreciated the redesigned valve closure, handle, etc.A number of small incremental improvements make for an overall much better experience. No regrets, still the best I've tried.
