A Definitive Anduril!
The media could not be loaded. Simply put, this Anduril replica is amazing. It looks great on the wall, it feels great in your hand, and it looks just like the sword from the movies. Occasionally, you find a replica that makes you realize you don’t have to go looking for a better one and this is definitely one of those. The leather handle is tight, and the stitching looks good. The blade looks nice, and the elven script is etched deeply into the blade instead of just printed. The scabbard features soft leather and metal. The sword is balanced well enough to feel combat-ready (it’s not a real sword, so don’t use it as such) and everything feels and sounds tight and well-made. It features a wall-hanger plaque that looks equally good and comes with all necessary mounting hardware. I’m honestly stretching to find something wrong with this. The only thing I came across that’s even remotely negative is the scabbard is very tight around the blade so inserting and removing it requires some effort. That’s literally all I can come up with. If you are a LOTR fan, buy it. If you are not a LOTR fan, but just think this sword looks good, buy it.

Really nice, heavy sword
This is a really nice sword that is nicely designed and well-made. My daughter is a big Zelda fan and she really loves it. The first one I received arrived with a broken guard and was quickly replaced - very good customer service. It has a significant weight and a nice design on the guard and hilt and looks really great mounted on the wall amongst other Zelda items.

looks great at distance, nose heavy, off-center engraving and hilt, not sharp
Well, right off I’m not sure about the claim of 1095 carbon steel, it appears more like a stainless grade at first, but I guess we’ll see. And generally it’s a pretty good looking sword from a few feet away. It’s definitely not perfect and the low price saves it in my opinion. The package it comes in seemed pretty decent, but the plastic protection for the tip was actually not really helpful after all. The very tip was poking out of the cardboard after it had broken through the black support base and the inner plastic shield!! Thankfully in my case it was barely out the larger outer box and didn’t get major damage. It seems there was more damage to the edge that was captured by the black reinforced protection. The sword itself was covered in a really hazy greasy film. Once wiped down it looks rather nice. But again not being perfect it is clear the laser engravings are not centered properly on the blade. The handle wrap leaves black particles in your hand and needs some wipe down and handling to remove it. And the scabbard also has some sort of dusty oily stuff on it that had to be wiped off. And I noted some problems with the paint on an edge that isn’t visible from the front. And the scabbard has some seriously dense foam padding on the inside at the top. Either way it REALLY holds the sword in there and makes it rough to pull out and even harder to put in and requires looking at it to get the tip started properly. After leaving the sword in the scabbard for over a week the foam seems to have taken a set and now has a visible gap and is much easier to draw from and insert through. The hilt clearly has some off-center or alignment issues with the design as it clearly points a bit left. This is the case on both sides of the hilt. It is not quite as noticeable as with the laser engraving though. And the whole thing looks rather nice on the wall mount. The mount itself feels fairly nice and looks good. And the sword itself weighs nearly four pounds.Overall I feel like it’s a pretty decent blade to hang on the wall or for cosplay. The balance is quite forward heavy though so handling isn’t great. It is what it is I guess and is nice for a geeky gaming room, but don’t expect something functional or even superbly finished. Again, the inexpensive sub ninety dollar price really is the saving grace.

Missing piece
The sword itself is nice. I bought it for a Christmas gift. It was mssing the plaque to mount it on the wall. When i contacted the seller, they said they would send one out after the new year. Ok fine. It is now rhe end of March. No plaque ever arrived, they do not respond to any messages. I have a sword with no mount.

This sword is amazing! I am absolutely in love with it! This sword has been one I’ve wanted for so many years ever since I watched the Lord of the rings as a kid. Anduril, the flame of the west, the sword that was re-forged, is absolutely breathtaking. I cannot express enough the joy I had when I opened the box with this sword in it. It is an excellent craftsmanship. The sword has a fantastic weight to it. It is all metal. It is not sharp whatsoever which it doesn’t have to be as it is supposed to be just a wall hanging sword. the sword is fantastic to hold and grip. The quality of the blade is very nice and you can see the engraving on the blade very well. The scabbard is decent. I noticed that it doesn’t completely seat, the sword all the way in it perfectly, but that is easily forgiven, as it is just a gorgeous sword. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this sword. I wish it was capable of actually hacking off or arms, but to have such a beautiful wall hanger is just fine with me. I highly recommend this product to any LOTR fan! I swear that you will not be disappointed with this product. It is such a fantastic piece of art to have and it makes you feel super cool when you’re holding it.
