Looks great for now
Appears well put together although I would have preferred a hard case to better protect the glass. Setting the angle of the glass relies on friction in the hinge, which is great for now but for how long? A couple of stays to hold the glass at 45 degrees would worry me less but perhaps I shouldn't dwell on "what if's"

Good teleprompter with the "correct" design
Teleprompters are really useful if you record videos from a pre-written script, they let you look right into the camera lens and see exactly what you are supposed to say without always looking down at notes. They can also be used for video conferencing, if you put a smaller monitor in the teleprompter's tray you can put the video window for the other person on that monitor. Then you will be looking straight into the camera and seeing the other person at the same time. This makes it easy to keep eye contact in a video conference and feels much more natural since you can look right at the person's face and be looking into the camera at the same time!So what do I mean by the "correct design". This teleprompter has a metal frame that holds the glass, monitor/tablet and camera all together as one balanced piece. It also uses a cloth "sock" to prevent light from leaking into the back of the prompter. This is usually the best way because a cloth sock will fit almost any size and shape lens you want to use. Many cheap teleprompters attach directly to the lens ring which leaves the weight of the tablet/monitor, glass and frame all hanging on the front of your lens with no other support. Lens rings are not designed to hold this much weight and it makes the camera really front heavy and hard to balance on a tripod. So the ILOKNZI design with one frame to support everything is the right way to do it!The other features of this prompter are also good, they use multicoated 70/30 glass. This reduces reflections and "ghosting" as well as letting more light get through to the camera. It comes in a well padded case that will let you transport everything easily without risking breaking the glass. They also include a bluetooth hand controller you can use with phone/tablet software to advance the teleprompter as you read. I haven't used this feature yet because I mostly use the teleprompter for video conferencing like I described earlier. So I'd recommend this unit, the 12 inch size was able to hold my full-sized IPad pro so it should work with almost any phone or tablet. If you want to use it from farther away with a larger monitor you might want to get the 16 inch version.

The remote control let me down
Unfortunately the remote control feels extremely cheap, and the joystick feature has never worked with my iPad, as I cannot scroll up. The app is outdated, clunky and it’s hard to find a good alternative, plus they all cost a lot more, so this is not the final price that you are paying for your teleprompter setup.

Affordable teleprompter for social media
As personal broadcasting becomes ever more popular and possibly even profitable, what with the Youtubers and the Tiktokers and the Twitchers, it was inevitable that affordable teleprompters designed for home use would be a thing, and perhaps the only surprise about this is the price, which is much more affordable than I would have expected. How this works is you write your script on an android/mac app, then mount your tablet/phone on this device, which attaches to a camera stand. A piece of illuminated mirror glass in front of the camera reflects the script, so you are speaking direct to camera whilst reading. I don't know if that's how the ones in TV studios work, but this is all very ingenious, even if it does have a touch of the Heath Robinson about it.My only small cavil is that it comes in a soft travel bag, so not much protection for a product that's mainly glass: However, this is unlikely to actually be carried about much, it's very much for a home broadcasting setup.

This amazing teleprompter gives high definition prompting that is really easy to read. You can easily read from side angles with no distortion or vignetting. It comes with a case to protect the glass in travel and storage. A handy bluetooth remote control is included in the kit. Great top quality product.

Easy to use
Easy to set up & use, fits my iPad Pro like a dream and helps make videos feel natural. It feels of great quality, durable and is a reasonable price for what’s included. The carry case aids portability and storage alike. The glass is crystal clear and very easy to read, much better than cheaper alternatives. I’d recommend!
