Very nice!
I am not a skier but needed some warm but thin socks for my boots this winter. I am allergic to wool and it always itches but these do not itch at all! Very comfortable and thin, which I prefer, and nice and warm for me in temps that are not terribly low. They are good down past freezing into the 20’s so far but we haven’t had any really cold weather in Rhode Island this winter yet. Not much support or compression, but a nice sock that works when you need a warm knee sock under pants. They are ok in the dryer, but I hang them dry now after trying that on one pair. It didn’t ruin them however and I may end up drying them in the dryer more since they were a bit loose initially. They stay up, no problem.

Toasty Warm!
These socks keep me warm, but not overly warm. I'm out in the cold walking quite a bit. They don't fall down. Actually, I'm not aware of them at all after I put them on because they are simply perfect! I had one pair and got two more. I wouldn't take a star away for this, but be careful while pulling them up because a whole did develop at the seam that goes around the sock about an inch from the top.

Fit is great. They're on the lighter side
Fit is great. They're on the lighter side, so not very thick, which is exactly what I was looking for. The cuff at the top of the calf is the perfect tightness, actually. So far I've only been using these to break in new boots preparing for snow. So I've been wearing them while being relatively inactive. And even then, they haven't felt too tight on any spot. The only reason I've given it a 4/5, is that they're not as soft as I would hope. Also, haven't actually snowboarded with them so can't speak to how warm they are or how well wick sweat.

Thin and also good enough cushion.
It's thin but your feet don't feel cold since it doesn't cut your circulation.

Excellent product and value .
Surprising warm for thin material. Excellent ribbing with support in all the right places for all day comfort. Sock rises nearly to the knee and stays in place all day. Very comfortable and non-bonding. I used everyday on a 5 day ski trip to Zermatt. Temps were as low a -20c and feet were comfortable. I was riding expert slopes all day and was comfortable and well supported.

Runs small and narrow
Disappointed - Socks are small and narrow. My son is tall and on the thin side ( 6ft 1 inches tall / 165-170 lbs ) He takes a men's size 11 shoe. I ordered size X-XL ski sock for him to wear skiing and snowboarding.Upon first glance, they didn't appear to be large enough to fit a man of my sons foot and leg size. I stretched them out to feel how much give they had and they still appeared to be too small. The socks are a little heavier (but not much) than your basic every day sock with a decorative pattern on them. They are socks you'd wear with boots for a short while snow blowing your driveway, shoveling your steps, or out for a short walk, and in my opinion, not on the slops skiing or snowboarding.I believe they just aren't heavy / thick enough for prolonged outdoor activities.

Best Cold Weather Ski Sockets Around
Best cold weather ski sockets around.I own many different brands and weights of ski socks and if the weather is cold, these are absolutely the best. As other reviewers have commented, they keep your feet warm in all but the coldest weather without chemical heaters. I have skied for several hours in sub-freezing weather without a problem. In fact, the only time my toes ever got cold was after several hours of skiing in temperatures close to 0 F.They also have extra weaving that serves as padding in just the places where you need it (see the darker or lighter areas in the product picture), and are shaped specifically for Left and Right feet for a good smooth fit.Yet, despite the warmth and extra padding they are not bulky and I had no problem fitting my feet into my ski boots. They have the right amount of stretch so that they fit a wide range of foot sizes nicely without being lose or too tight. I am a Men's 11 and purchased a L/XL and it fit well. I was also impressed with how soft they felt as I am usually not happy with wool socks -- even Merino wool.I highly recommend having at least one pair of them for skiing when the temperatures are below or around freezing. I like them so much that I recently purchased a second pair.
