I live in an area where at dusk we start seeing mosquitos. I can light a single one and it completely clears my 10’ x 10’ patio in a matter of minutes of being lit. I like to create a “zone” put 4 around me in the plant pots, absolutely zero flying insects. I love these!! Also great to keep the area clear so I can have my dogs on the patio with me as well and not worry about insects bothering them. I am the type of person that ALWAYS gets eaten alive by mosquitos, I’ve had one bite so far this spring. Much improved over the eaten-up ankles I usually experience this time of year. Will be purchasing again.

They are tiny and useless against mosquito . they don't smoke very well and are very hard to light, the cradle they come with only balance the coil, there is no eye to center it to. These are a all around bad product, don't buy!!!

I love these. They help with bugs when sitting outside. The smell isn’t bad and the smoke isn’t too much.

Okay, well, imagine my surprise when I opened up the box and took out the pkg of coils, there are 4 pkgs in a box. I looked at it and laughed to myself about being taken again for another bad buy, or so I thought! It took a while to light it using a bic lighter but not longer than I would expect. Yes, there are only 2 stands that come with it, it should be at least 4 imo. The coils have the thickness of a candle wick in my opinion. Initially I thought these will last forever because I would never use them period. Well, I took a chance, got 2 coils lit since I only had 2 stands. And I placed them outside on my patio spaced about 12-15 ft apart from each other. The smell was as expected, I do use citoronella oil and peppermint oil. It was a familiar scent to me and it does keep flying insects away, not 100% but much better when you have nothing at all. These coils burned for over 5 hours and then I stopped keeping track of them I believe they worked fine am actually happy now that I have gone ahead and used them for what I bought them for and that was to keep mosquitoes and flying critters from my patio where I will sit in the evenings to enjoy my coffee. I like these!

I bought these because I was really excited about getting a bunch of coils (vs. the couple you get with the OFF brand). When I received them, I was almost embarrassed because I had promised my landlady coils that would last a while, and these things are tiny. They're smaller than the standard coils and they're much slimmer, too. If a standard coil lasts about 5 hours, this one gets about 2-3 max (which is why the ad says "could last..."). It's not really a problem because not everyone stays outdoors for hours on end, and you can always light another, but it only comes with two stands (which is kind of silly considering how many coils it includes). The stands are also very flimsy and because the coils don't have the center notch that other coils do, the coil ends up dangling a bit and falls over easily.I do think these are more or less worth it, especially if you only plan to be outside for a few hours. Because they're thinner and smaller, they also don't produce as much smoke, so you could use it indoors if you leave the doors open. I would recommend using these in a coil holder for safety's sake, though.

I use citronella coils on a regular basis at home and when we're out camping. I bought these because I, mistakenly, thought they were a great value compared to others. The problem is that the coils are *extremely* small compared to other brands. They also have very limited spacing between each ring. What this means is that they are very sensitive to wind and have a very small scent range. They will go out, the scent isn't strong enough even in a very light breeze, relighting is a constant and sometimes during the relighting process the inside coil will get lit and eventually the entire coil will fall apart. Save yourself a headache and get the larger coils!

So, I work outside for 12 hour shifts. I figured that something that last for several hours would be great. Nope. Apparently they only burn for 10 minutes to an hour if your in S. Florida and its humid. Have gone through half the box and its the same problem, they refuse to stay lit.

I love these they do what it says on the box. The smell is nice and take a while to burn down. The only thing I have issue with is the price well over priced. I only ordered as I got discount. Other wise I wouldn't have ordered
