1/ 1/6 scale rocket !!!!!!
Haven't used it yet but from when I read about it should be really happy about it but I need to get batteries for it !!!! Also it has good speed supposedly. Compared to others in its category for 1/6 scale it was $200 cheaper. Good value for the money !!!!

If you buy used, your taking a chance
I bought this 6s machete from amazon, thinking it was a good deal, of course, it was used, when I got the box from shipment it looked great, as I prepared the rc car to get it running, I noticed a funny smell in the box, but I kept on preparing the 6s machete to get running, I got the batterys ready, put them in the rc car, I went to plug them in and immediately it started to catch on fire, the esc was burnt by the first owner, I called amazon, they referred me to redcat racing to make a long story short, no warranty, I had to spend $128.00 more to get it running, AMAZON DOES NOT CHECK ANYTHING BUT LOOKS, WHEN SOMEONE RETURNS THINGS

Got it broken
Took it out of the box set it all up ran it for about 10min noticed a bad wobble in the right rear. So I took out the wrench thinking it was the nut. But that was on tight so I took off the wheel and notice it was missing a bearing. It’s okay but still disappointed

Best value 1/6th scale RC you can buy, but needs some tweaking to be awesome
So there seems to be a lot of hate out there for this truck, which is sad, because it is actually awesome and a great deal for someone looking for their first huge RC monster. There is a lot to be said about this one, so I will do my best to organize my thoughts and feedback as well as give some specific advice on upgrades to make it great. What I love out of the box:1) It's Huge. Coming from 10th scale, you don't realize how much bigger it actually is until you get it. I've included pictures of it next to my 1/10th scale Team Associated MT10 for comparison.2) It's Fast. I don't have a gps, so can't say exactly how fast, but certainly feels close to 50mph, which is plenty fast for a giant RC car.3) It handles well. Being so close to the ground and with a huge wheel base makes it corner and steer really well4) The body is practically indestructible. I always destroy my lexan bodies, I just can't seem to help myself...But redcat did some magic and actually designed a body with skid plates in all the right areas, so roll overs and roof slides just rub on hard plastic rub rails instead of grinding down the lexan body. It truly is impressive how well the body is designed, it should last a really long time.5) Its a lot of fun to drive! What I don't love out of the box:1) For the first 3 runs, i managed to break something everytime. However, everything that broke was part of the known defects that they provided newly designed replacement parts in the box. Initially I broke a lower shock end, then next run I broke a rear upper suspension arm, then the next run it was a front upper arm. Ultimately not a big deal, as all the parts to fix were provided, and since doing the replacement swaps I haven't broken anything else2) Front wheels balloon a lot under hard acceleration. This has to do with the center diff oil being thinner than I prefer, which causes more power transfer to the front wheels when punching the throttle.3) Low ground clearance. The truck is low to the ground, which helps with handling, but unfortunately also cause the chassis to slap on the ground a lot and makes it so it can't do big jumps (well i guess you could, but it will slap the ground really hard...)4) The servo is a bit weak. Ultimately it works, but would have liked to have a little bit more power there. I think the issue comes down to not driving it with enough voltage, so may end up getting a separate BEC to fix this.My Fixes/Mods to make great1) Change out the center diff oil and put in 1Million Wt oil (Here is a link to what I used: https://a.co/d/7F94npc ) - This significantly reduce the front wheel ballooning and gets it close to doing wheelies (~$15)2) Up the punch to 7 on the ESC. This makes it feel a lot quicker without overloading the batteries. I've tried 8 and 9 but my batteries aren't good enough to prevent cogging, so I've stuck with 7 and am very happy (~Free -its easiest to do with a programming card, but you can do it manually without one, i've included the instructions in the pictures)3) Ground Clearance & Chassis Slap fix. These 3 steps below completely transformed the truck, no more bottoming out, It can handle bug jumps and looks a lot more like an XRT now. If you do anything, this is the mod to do. a) Buy the RedCat Shredder Shocks. They are the same shock body but just longer, so you get more travel. Because the shredder is discontinued, these are super cheap on the redcat website, I think $11 per pair right now (~$22) b) Create spring spacers using 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC pipe, with each spacer approximately 15mm long (~$2) c) Remove the Stock Shredder Springs and put on the new pvc spacers and the original Machete Springs and then install in the carIf you are willing to put in a little work and less than $50 in parts, you can make this truck a beast.

Get Something Else
Overall experience: 2.5 (out of 5)It's hard to define what this truck is. It's not a Kraton, it's not a Sledge, it's not an XRT... So what is it? I don't know. I honestly would not recommend this truck.Handling: 2Everything about this truck screams that it should handle like a dream, but it doesn't. It's heavy, it's very wide, it's very low, but the handling is disappointing and it ends up on its roof way too often.Air control: 1With the wheelbase, the small belted tires, and the less-than-stellar motor, this truck has horrible air control.Dust-proof?: 2This thing gets dirt in the deepest, most sensitive, and unexpected places. Multiple steering and driveline components had extreme wear after just a few runs.Motor/ESC: 3This has an average 1/8 motor combo. The problem is this truck isn't 1/8 scale. It will only get up to 40 - 45 mph.Steering servo: 4Actually a pretty good servo, and it is does quite well once you give it 8.4 volts. The problem is you'll need an external BEC or an upgraded esc to get that voltage.Radio: 3A nice, very basic radio. But the receiver can only handle 6 volts, which can be a limiting factor.Tires: 4The tires are quite good on their own. But their size and being belted give you horrible air control.Chassis layout: 3You'll have to drill some holes if you want to mount any motor that is at all bigger than stock.Radio box: 2Too small and awkwardly positioned.Durability: 3The wing and the front bumper rip off very easily. Overall the truck is pretty beefy, but dirt gets in all the wrong places and chews things up.Aluminum parts: 2.5The finish on the aluminum wears off very easily.Aftermarket options: 1.5If you want to change the look of this truck, you can't. There aren't any bodies out there that will fit.

Very Fast!
I had both this and the Shredder. This one is noticeably faster than the Shredder which I have used for years with zero issues. The machete is overbuilt and the build quality is impressive. I really like everything about this truck and would recommend.
