A really nice guitar
Well, after reading the reviews I decided to take the chance and purchase the Classic. I've been wanting a Tele for a long time, but the Fender prices kinda held me back. Enter the Musi Classic. Starting from the very beginning... the packaging of the guitar is better than anything I've ever seen before. It comes in the standard box, but inside, the guitar is completely enclosed in "fitted" styrofoam. Amazing in itself. I removed the packing and my goodness, what a nice looking instrument. Upon first inspection, I could not find one problem on any level. It is very well made and the fit on everything is perfect. Even the joint where the body meets the neck has no gap of any kind. The playability is outstanding as it came, as if I took it to a luthier for a set up. That includes an incredibly low action, straight fretboard and the fret work is ridiculously good. No flat spots, no grading feeling on bending notes. I mean it came with a perfect fretboard. Crazy good at any price. The roasted neck is a first for me and I have to say, it feels very good. It is somewhat thinner than say a real Fender Tele, but it stands on its own for ease of play. I like it. I've only had the guitar for a month so far, so I am not sure if the pick ups need to be replaced. I personally find them to sound pretty darn good and very Tele sounding. Also, for a single coil instrument, the one I got is really, REALLY quiet. Im impressed. I did buy shielding tape, thinking it was going to be a bit noisy. I'm not sure shielding is necessary at this point. As other reviewers have mentioned, the internal components are solid and well made. It even comes with a four pronged input for a solid cable connection. Something Fender doesn't offer.By now I imagine you get that I am very pleased with the quality of the Musi Classic. Did I get lucky or have they improved the guitar building process from the comments of earlier reviewers? I don't know. I do know I am very happy with it in every way. The body contours, locking tuners, trust rod adjustment and on and on. I don't believe you can beat this guitar at triple the price for features and comfort. I was going to save up for a Tele Player Plus, but then I started reading about these Musi instruments. I'm at the point in life where I don't care what brand name graces the headstock. I can't play the headstock..... by the way, the headstock on these guitars are unique and very cool looking in person. I didn't mention that you can also string this guitar two separate ways. through the body or at the bridge itself. Musi covered pretty much everything a guitar player could want for such a great price.I hope this review helps those of you on the fence about trying one. If you're like me, I had every intention of trying it and returning it. Try one it's a keeper.Especially at the price point. Good luck and happy pickin!

Transformed Into A Great Player
Packaged very nicely in Styrofoam insert and heavy cardboard box . When I first unpacked I wasn't as impressed as I had expected I would be based on reviews I have read and watched online. The strings like other reviewers stated are not good .I replaced them first and checked fit and finish .Everything was done very well. The neck profile was a little thinner than I prefer but I can live with it . Fret ends were nicely dressed , However there was buzzing frets in numerous places up and down the neck. The action needed to be raised higher than I like to correct. At this point I considered returning the guitar. On further consideration I removed the neck and it was perfectly straight but there was several high frets. I decided to do a fret level ,crown and polish. The results were even better than I expected. I always do a fall off from the 12th fret to the last fret. ( Just a slight bit lower than the first 12 ). That allows you to achieve very low action. The results were a remarkable transformation of the guitar. The neck is roasted maple in a satin finish which is very smooth and looks nice. The pickups are very Tele sounding with good punch. Quality electronics, Cloth covered wires,CTS pots and very nice selector switch.Wilkinson bridge with brass compensated saddles allows excellent intonation. Locking tuners are wonderful. They are smooth and hold tune well. The weight of the guitar is about between 6 and 7 pounds I would estimate as I don't have scales to give exact weight. The body contours make for comfort while playing. The body is a slight bit thinner than a standard tele.Chords ring clearly and sustain is very good. The final setup made this guitar a definite keeper and something I am happy to add to my collection.Overall there maybe a need to do some work to meet a players standards which is common in most every guitar. If you can do your own setup work the Virgo is a super deal . It maybe worth the extra money to make it a thing of perfection. A players standards in guitar performance is totally subjective. I give this one excellent marks for my needs.

A sweet sounding machine
I love everything about it except the pickguard: I Would have preferred black (my guitar, my opinion)This being said, IT'S AWESOME!The sound of the pickups really surprised me by their richness and clarity, the staggered locking tuners are great, the (grounded, I checked) Wilkinson bridge has compensated brass saddles for intonation, It has a bone nut, rounded stainless steel frets, really smooth satiny roasted maple neck, mahogany body. She was, I mean really perfectly fine as she was but that pick guard...I decided to change it and got a grey flowers on black, Dopro Tele 3D Printed pickguard, she looks so classy with it that I now want to go an extra step and black her out as much as possible with equivalent or better parts...So she is getting all this from Amazon for Christmas:-Solo Pro black staggered locking tuners-Dopro black Guitar Roller String Tree-Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL-Black String-Through Body Ferrules-Kaish black brass jack and plate-Musiclily 32mm Width Prewired Loaded Telecaster Control Plate for Tele Style Guitar,Black (for the plate and knobs)-Musiclily black screws-Nefelibata 2.3 inch Porter Style Leather Carving Guitar Straps with Leather Ends,60s Vintage Style (Black-D'Adario black strap locks-Rubatone Guitar Strap Buttons-Musiclily black Metal Neck PlateI'm keeping the original compensated brass saddles, body, neck, electronics and pickups because I like the way she sounds. The swapped parts will be kept for a future project as they are all high quality items.

Excellent! Thank you!
Best bang for the buck out there. It stands up against guitars I have that cost $1000 - $2000 more!

Light, blotchy paint and junk strings...but great guitar
Broke the B string first thing trying to tune it. The paint is thin and you can see zebra striping on the back. One more pas with paint gun would have cured that. Other than that I am Very impressed. I would have given five stars all across except for those two things. Fit of the components were perfect. Once restrung, the intonation was dead on, great setup. Full size pots and high quality switch. Everything fit perfect and lined up perfectly. Light body with great contures. I highly recommend this guitar, especially at this price point. You can't beat it.

Incredible quality and craftsmanship
Stop paying for expensive pieces of wood with a Fender or Squier logo on it. There I said it.The build quality is incredible for that price point! Player-ready out-of-the-box. I have to admit it was nerve-racking to order a guitar, of all things, on Amazon, but boy was I surprised at how awesome the product actually is. All the previous positive reviews played a big part in my decision process. That roasted Maple fretboard is legit! Love the Empire Yellow color, not as punchy as a Fender/Squier Tele but it's perfect in it's own right. The controls feels sturdy and not cheap. Exceeded all my expectations and then some. Really happy with mu purchased. Would consider buying a Bass from them is M MUSI ever decides to add those to their lineup of products.Bear in mind that i'm no way a gear-head or a professional musician, take my review however you like.

Wow!
All I can say is: "Fender, take a lesson in building guitars from these guys!"Gig ready out of the box. Even intonation is bang on! Perfect Stainless Steel fret work, CTS pots, Blade Switch, compensated saddles, roasted maple neck, staggered locking tuners, body contours, incredible fit and finish, and for under 500$ canadian? You'd have to spend $1700 plus to get a brand name telecaster to even come close to this quality. Blown Away!
