Brand new 30 foot roll of .018" Acculon 49 strand beading wire. Acculon was one of the first beading wires on the market and has been manufactured since 1976. Manufactured 100% in the United States, this nylon coated stainless steel stranded beading wire is great for beads with abrasive holes. Up until recently, Acculon could only be ordered in 3 strand and 7 strand, but now the company is offering a 21 strand and 49 strand that are superior to the ones offered by Beadalon, SoftFlex, and Flex-Rite. Acculon 49 is a premium quality bead stringing material. Unlike the 21 strand and 7 strand, Acculon 49 can be knotted. This product comes in two diameters, is extremely flexible, kink resistant, and very strong. The break strength of the .015" is 20 pounds, the break strength of the .019" is 34 pounds, and the break strength of the .026 is 40 pounds. It consists of 49 strands of very fine stainless steel stranded together and coated in FDA approved nylon. The more strands wound together, the more flexible the wire. The thicker the wire, the more abrasion resistance and strength it will have.
