Dino volcano kit
Got this for a little boy that loves dinosaurs. This is a fun toy with mist from the volcano, toys and lots of imagination. Hours of fun. I thought this would be cheap but it is pretty solid. The mist is cool so no chance of the volcano steam hurting your little ones. Made in China.

It came damaged
I got this for my sons birthday and The bucket it came in was completely cracked. And I do not have time to send it back and get a new one. Very disappointed, not worth $30.

Dino Volcano
The dinosaurs and volcano are really fun toys. The kids instantly enjoyed playing with them. They are solid plastic and feel durable. The kids throw them around and they have yet to break one.The volcano mist function is really a cool touch. The kids loved it and always want to play with that part. These would be a really good gift for any dinosaur loving kid.

Real smoking volcano; fire & lava light up
The media could not be loaded. If you ask my son what he wants to be when he grows up, he will tell you that he wants to be a scientist who studies dinosaurs and volcanoes. So, I was super excited when I saw this set. It has dinosaurs, and a volcano. It also includes a campfire, two characters that are supposed to be Bigfoot and Sasquatch, and their dinner. The campfire has a switch on the bottom that makes the fire light up. The volcano lights up, makes dinosaur roaring sounds, and it also sprays mist out that looks like smoke coming from the volcano. It comes with a little water dropper, and it has a tiny hole under a cap on the side of the volcano. You fill the dropper, squeeze it in the hole, replace the cap, and push the button to make it spray the mist and light up. It looks very cool. I like this set. My son really likes it, too. Every piece in this set is made of high quality, durable plastic. I only have one minor complaint. The button on the volcano causes the mist, makes the lava light up, and makes dino roaring sounds. There is only one button that starts and stops all three. You can't have the volcano erupt without the dino sounds, or vice versa. I think the mist and the lava lighting are so awesome, but I am completely over the dino roar. It's the same roar, over and over again. It doesn't vary in any way. It's just a constant, repetitive, generic roar. I say generic, because my son has two other dinosaurs that make the same exact sound. Those two dinos have had their batteries removed. I don't like toys that give me an instant headache. Unfortunately, I can't just take the batteries out of this, because they also make the volcano light up and mist. So I can't get rid of the annoying roar without ruining the whole point of him having this set in the first place. I really wish they were on separate switches, but I can't do anything to change that. One last thing, I don't know when the last time this happened was, but this set actually comes with the batteries included for the campfire and the volcano. That is such a rare bonus anymore. So I felt I really needed to mention that.

Delightfully cheesy fun for whippersnappers
These "Dino Bros" (the bucket it comes in calls them "Dinosaur Tribe") are so campy they’re cool. Some "assembly" is required (but only in the sense that you have to install the included batteries). The instructions for use are on the side of the bucket. I found it a little difficult to unscrew/screw the teensy-weensy screw with the "toy" screwdriver, and it took me a while to get off the pillar plugging the water reservoir, too (by rotating it counterclockwise for a few hours [exaggeration!]), but it was all doable. There is also a short video — with comically cheesy music (jaunty whistling) — that shows off the contents of the bucket: two "cave men" who seem to be inspired by Fred Flintstone and Alley Oop, a volcano, a "camp fire" which is almost half as tall as the volcanic mountain, a stegosaurus chop roasting on a spit, and half a dozen dinosaurs which appear to be inspired by the "Big Eyes" paintings of Margaret Keane. If you watch the video (at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVZHZCCY), you will see visual instructions on how to hear the dinosaur sounds, see the "fire," and (supposedly, anyway) see the mist belch forth from atop the volcano.I say "supposedly" because, for whatever reason (poor design? malfunction? operator error?), the mist didn't work for me. I added the water and pressed the pillar on the volcano (as per the instructions), which does cause the racket which is supposedly dinosaurs squawking about something, but sounds more to me like how my grade-school friends and I used to imitate the "roar of the crowd" at a sporting event after hitting a home run, scoring a touchdown, or making the game-winning basket.All-in-all, young children (ages 3 and up, according to the packaging) should have fun playing with this set. Better yet, they can exercise their imagination by naming the characters and coming up with dialog (an example of which is shown in the photo I included as part of this review).

My Grandkids Loved This Toy
My grandchildren absolutely loved playing with this toy. The set comes with batteries and even a tiny screwdriver to open the battery compartment. The volcano works great. They even include a bottle for adding the water. The volcano lights up and smokes. The kids were very excited to see the volcano work. The extra accessories were a big hit with the kids too. They played with the two cavemen and campfire for a long time. They even made a game out of the campfire. The campfire lights up so they played hide and seek with the campfire. My grandson loves dinosaurs and loved all the different ones included. This is a great gift for kids.
