This is a great little fireplace. I presumed it had glass panels but it does not. My dog walks by wagging his tail and I worry he will catch on fire. Because it is an open flame supervision is necessary with children and pets. I wish the fuel had a better price point. Nonetheless it’s a great source for alternative heat if the power goes out in my apartment. I love the traditional look and no residue.

This would be a perfect item if it had some sort of screen or glass to make it safe. The instructions are practical non existent. A lot smaller than I thought it would be. The fuel burns off fast. (Of note....the fuel will evaporate rapidly when not in use) the fuel is expensive. Great for "show". It will put out some heat, but not a lot.

I don’t think this is gonna save you. If your heat goes out, it’s not going to heat up a room, but it is good for aesthetics and coming from someone who misses her fireplace dearly. It is exactly what I needed. I only wish the gel fuel that crackles like wood wasn’t so expensive.

The media could not be loaded. I am not sure why people think it’s a big deal not to have glass in this fireplace. I don’t think it’s necessary at all. I filled up the box with 99% alcohol and it’s been burning over one hour so far and I’m so impressed on how much heat it is putting out And it looks beautiful. Don’t hesitate to buy this seriously!

This is an open flame there is no glass what so ever. Be careful if you use it. I would have bought something else if I knew.

I use it for decoration only. I used it a couple of time but I have a small place, 1,200 sq.ft. and the fumes are low but I felt like I was checking out and my eyes kinda burned a Lil too. I did burn it out side with a full bottle of the fluid first but I think it would be nice for a balcony or in a gazebo that would be cool or decoration, it's very sturdy a 200lb person can stand on it no problem

Just right for a patio and looks nice and not to heavy to pickup and move.

Made with heavy materials and looks nice, but the sides and front are open would be better and safer if glass was included.
