It's a lot to cover two sizeable countries in one 165p book, but I think this gives a brilliant overview in a lightweight format..With several pages of maps (plus a fold out 1" = 63 miles one in back pocket), a Spanish phrase section and all the traveller basics, it's got an 'enthusiastic' feel which makes you want to visit! There's Insider Tips throughout, with little intriguing things you might miss - an orphanage for capybaras; restaurant run by nuns; stay in a tree house...Lots of colour photos, info on the famous sights, discovery tours - from Jesuit Missions to Following in the Settlers' Andean Footsteps. Plus list of Links, Apps and Blogs to further inform you. From luxury to low budget, they've really covered it all!
