Very durable, nice appearance, very functional.

I bought the 2Qt and 3 Qt size....easier to do more than one bowl at a time when washing lots of fruits and berries. I LOVE THEM. They stack easily and take up little room this way. Cleaning is fast and easy, They are sturdy and I believe a good price for the quality. If I didn't already have large Stainless steel colander and bowl, for which it fits, I would have gotten the 4 Qt size as well. I put ice cubes in the base bowl to keep the fruit from getting soft and mushy; (think of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc. that are almost impossible to wash, other than running cold water over them). Then add water, with a small amount some white distilled vinegar and baking soda to clean the fruit. Swirl the water a bit to get the vinegar and Baking Soda Activated. Then put the colander part on top and add berries or fruit. Swirl them a bit and let them sit for about 5 minutes. I let them drain a bit and use a paper towel to lightly wipe.Finally, I use a small microfiber towel (generally a dark one, so no fruit stains) in the bottom of the bowl. Then add the fruit and refrigerate. All Ready to EAT and they last quite a few days this way.

I knew I needed this but I never thought I would love it as much as I do. I use it to rinse my nuts (almonds and walnuts). I am amazed as to how many small particles were in the bag (some are not the nuts). For my almonds I leave them in the water after I have discarded the dirty water so I can remove the skins. I also use this item for rinsing my berries. The 5qt size let's the berries spread out more. I can easily clean the dirt, pesticide, and other stuff from the berries. I let them drain and then put them on paper towels to dry before I put them in a sealed container in the fridge. I like that this item is stainless steel. The quality is great. I definitely recommend it.

Quality:So far nothing to complain about. It's held up fine after a few runs through the dishwasher using hard well water (house water is softened). Both bowls feel sturdy and not heavy.Use:Handles are nice and have a good shape making it natural to want to grab and use them. When placing the handles together for carrying both bowls, it's not thick and easy to use. It does work for rinsing most items like veggies and rice (see below for more details on rice) and draining pasta. Large enough to do this with large batches/volumes of food. The 2nd bowl will come in handy for my other hobby which is sourdough bread making.Rice:I bought this mainly for rinsing rice which works but some rice is capable of squeezing through the wholes. The rice I've used is Jasmine and other short grain (like rice used for sushi). However, the amount that does get through the wholes is very little. With the other bowl that comes with this, makes it easy to catch and add it back to the pile without issue. I usually do this at the end when water is clear. I've done up to 3 - 4 cups of rice and the amount slips through easily less than a quarter cup. Maybe a couple of table spoons. Bowl is big enough to get the job done pretty quick as it holds a lot of volume in my opinion. Will post a picture later when I make another big batch of rice.

Got tires of overpriced salad spinners that are fussy to wash and inevitably mold and break. I tried this as an alternative and am pleased!No sharp edges; nice finish. I send my kids out to the garden with this all the time now. It's sturdy, lightweight, easy to clean, and space efficient.It only holds about enough salad greens for maybe 2-3 adults but the ease of cleaning and storing outweighs that minor drawback.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this product! Great quality, drains great, Handles well. I use this to clean all of my fruits and vegetables. It’s large enough for me to do a lot at once. I would recommend it! Great price for the quality!

I wash my rice before I cook it all the time. this colander works well for short grain rice but Long grain rice still falls right through. if the holes were maybe 0.5mm smaller in diameter, it would have been perfect. but for everything else it works well.

I cook all the time. I bought this item because I needed adequate space to wash fruits and vegetables, and this colander fits the bill. My kitchen sink is 15 3/4 by 13 3/4 and the colander sits very well inside without touching the sides of the sink. It's not heavy and it has a solid feel to it. If you're like me and enjoy cooking, this item is a must. Take care everyone.

I use this item at least twice a week, sometimes more. Uses for me are cleans rice, washes leafy veggies, vinegar bath for strawberries (works fantastic, some in my fridge right now from a week ago and just like fresh picked) and other fruits like grapes, cherries etc, drains like any culindar and good value for the money. Sharp appearance in my kitchen and have washed in dishwasher. Highly recommend.

I was extremely pleased with the quality and durability of this product. Very solid and washes easily. Often it is difficult to access the quality of a product from just a photo, but this stainless steel colander exceeded my expectations. Just what I needed to replace my old flimsy strainer that was starting to break in half. I use it daily to drain cooked vegetables. Thank you!

Sturdy and solid colander for washing rice. Only complaint is that the holes are just large enough to trap some grains of rice. It doesn't trap more than a few but the ones that are trapped stick up and are quite sharp, making it pretty rough and somewhat painful on wet fingers. Small issue but not great when having children (or anyone else for that matter) with sensitive hands helping out in the kitchen. Not a deal breaker but something that should be pointed out. Much better option than the all of the plastic rice washers out there.
