The media could not be loaded.  Our neighbors have one like this, and use it all the time. We bought this on their recommendation and love it. I was worried becaused I'd looked at reviews, and one person had video of it not working. I am convinced that it was not used properly. It has to be able to catch the rising hot air to make the fan move. She had it dangling in front of the fire. I have videoed mine, and I slow it down in the video to show that it's blades are moving fast, but on camera it looks like it's not spinning much.The room is normally so chilly (even with the fire) that I need a blanket on my lap. This fan quietly pushes the heat toward you with no noise, no breeze. It doesn't cool the heated air by blowing too hard. It's almost radiant, but not......if that makes sense? Anyway: excellent product for an affordable price. 👌

Straight out of the box and onto the fireplace insert. Insanely quiet operation. Assists in distributing the heat. Not sure if its 33% boost, but it definitely helps ! Very happy with the purchase.

Works well. A bit smaller than my other one so make sure you check dinentions before ordering which I failed to do.

Only use one on our wood burning stove in the kitchen (our only source of heat) Could feel the difference on the other side of the room (large L shaped kitchen). Worked so good we didn't need to burn any wood the next day until the late afternoon. Have one for our living room also, but haven't used yet. Will be getting another one (so we have 2) for our living room as it is heated by wood and or pellets, and the room is nearly 600sqft.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased three fans (for my fireplace) to see which one would work better and activate fastest. This is the only one that did not activate at all. The blades are thin and easily bent, then they get stuck. Even when you make sure by hand that's it's able to spin freely, no amount of heat activates it. It's going in the trash! The one I ended up keeping is the LAMA 7 BLADE-that one spun and was so quiet, I didn't even know it was spinning. I can't say anything about the heat transfer but anything is better rhan nothing and if you get too strong a fan you feel a breeze and get smoke.

The fan has been in use for 2 days and is working fine. I am using it on a Regency Steel Wood Burning Stove (which is about 25 years old ). The Dskaoo fan is very quiet and does the job of moving hot air into the room... and does it superbly. I would highly recommend this product.

Does not work well on a pellet stove - does not get hot enough to activate the fan. Prob works best on a wood-burner or a surface that gets HOT to touch.

I know this is designed for the tops of wood and coal stoves but I need something for my wall mount propane heater. I used a double prong peg hook and attached it to the vent slots. It works fantastic. I went through two electric blower motors and was about to give up until I found this option. So far it’s been great.

Very quietly and efficiently moves heat around our family room.

This is the second fan we have put on our log burner. Great fan so we bought another. Really helps move the air around just enough.

I bought two of these for our gas fireplace because the fan had gone on ours and they wanted an exorbitant amount to replace it. Like the cost of a new fireplace. So I decided to buy these and give them a try. They work just fine and are very quiet. Great little invention. They circulate the air just fine. They aren't your normal type of fan but they work just fine.

This item is very light and small. The fan turns easily with little heat on the wood stove, but even when the stove is hot, no air movement can be felt whatsoever. Don't waste your money.
