This lock set was good replacement of my older one. Price is reasonable and quality is good.

This is a very nice-looking door handle and lockset. I was easy to replace our previous set with this one. A little trimming for the strike plate and the rest fit perfectly. They included an extra cylinder that are keyed the same. Handy if you have another door that will accept this cylinder. The finish is nice and the pewter color is rich. I deducted one star because it is not the most heavy-duty assembly I have used. Not bad and probably adequate for most applications. Just not the same as our other doors. So, the price is lower. I think it is a good value thought.

We used this new handle to replace the old builder-installed handle that had seen better days. The front of our house gets hit straight-on by the afternoon sun, and the finish of the old handle was flaking off and looked awful. We have a more modern aesthetic anyway, and this handle is BEAUTIFUL. It looks so great when installed.Installation wasn't difficult but did require some thought and planning. This kit is great because it provides two cylinders to allow you to re-key your front and back doors if desired, but that wasn't going to work for us for two main reasons:1) Our door deadbolts are 60mm in length, and the existing deadbolts did not fit the new lock cylinders. The kit comes with one 60mm deadbolt that fits the new cylinders, but we would have needed two. We would have needed to drill the original metal deadbolt holes to enlarge them to fit the new cylinders.2) We also have locking garage and back doorknobs that also use the same key as the front and back door deadbolts, so we would have needed four new cylinders to re-key the house instead of two. Otherwise we still would have had two separate keys to get into the house depending on which door we entered.We opted to keep our existing cylinders, which let us swap out the handle hardware while keeping the same deadbolts, locks, and keys that we've been using to date. Had we been able to use the new lock cylinders, the kit also comes with four keys and would be easy to replicate at a local hardware store if more are needed.Once we worked through those decisions, the rest of the install was easy. The new handle was already set to the same height that our prior handle used, so everything immediately lined up and was easy to secure in place. It looks really great, and now we just need to repaint the door to match the new look.
