I bought this machine to till two flower beds that were full of roots and had compacted soil. It is a real workhorse with plenty of power and made the MUCH job easier than using hand tools. The Amazon description says in digs to a depth much more shallow than it is capable of. If you let it keep digging, it will sink as far as you want to dig. It does tasks that would take hours by hand in minutes. Even if you have a small bed or garden, it’s worth the cost to save the effort of doing the digging by hand.

This little is amazing. I have used one before so was very surprised at how easy it is to use. Besides tilling, I discovered on first pass, it pulls out thatch and makes it easy to rake upIt also arrested. Had just planned to extend flower beds and plant some vegetables. When I get to very hard dirt I can't shovel out, I simply let et it run over the space I am trying to dig to plant roses and it breaks up the hard dirt so I can get hole deep enough to plant. I am 78 years old and have bad back so I feared my gardening days were over, but this little machine has allowed me to do all I wanted to do and more. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this for $100 (plus tax) on sale to widen my flowerbeds. Pros: so easy to put together, light weight, yet powerful enough to til dirt deep. Cons: Wish wheels were bigger and I didn't have to hold the button down while maneuvering. Also, have to rig the cord plug-keeps falling out. Because of the blades smaller size, I recommend weed whacking the grass ahead of time. You will save so much unnecessary time and work uncoiling the blades. My fault for tilling overgrown thick grass and not removing ALL the old landscaping fabric (even little pieces). Guess there's no way to avoid long thick root though. Still giving it 5 stars for performance and price.

We've had alot of rain, so it's been 2 weeks since this tiller arrived. The instructions and parts aren't numbered specifically so that could be improved, but there's only 2 bolts & 4 black fasteners. My wheel mount with 2 bolts is backwards & it doesn't adjust or move the wheels as described or pictured. Once assembled, I found the tiller easy to use in my garden. I'm a 5'7" senior woman & wished the handles were adjustable to be lowered. Overall I rate this tiller 4 stars for light jobs, as it's much lighter than a heavy gas powered tiller.

Wow! This thing is a beast! Just finished tilling up 500 sq feet of hard compacted clay soil that hasn’t been tilled in years. I used this to prep the yard before putting down new sod and while I wasn’t looking to necessarily own a tiller, it came out to be cheaper than renting one and the fact it was electric and I didn’t have to buy gas or load and unload a piece of heavy equipment into my car made this a great purchase. My only complaint is the handles would come loose when I would get into some serious areas. It was easy to reattach them, but that was the only flaw. Definitely recommend and now I am thinking the flower beds may get a round of tilling too!

I've never taken the time to write a review but I was so impressed with this little tiller I wanted to share my experience with it. As other reviewers stated it was very simple to put together (holes aligned fine & only 6 connections to put the wheels and handle together). Tiller is light but powerful and easily tilled up an area ~ 1000 sqft of my yard with dense thick weeds in about two hours. Most of my time was spent pulling weeds out the tiller tines. Could not be happier with how well it performed chewing up the tough weeds and ground.

Great value for the money. It works really well. Saved us a ton of time for digging out for our 15 foot round pool. I was really shocked at how powerful it is! Very happy with it!
