Just what I was looking for to keep in my daypack
when I am walking a 10-15 mile loop trail I want to have a portable shelter in case something goes wrong. A tent is too heavy. This fits the bill nicely, it will sit on the bottom of my pack and be ready in case I need it.I set it up in my backyard to test it and it went up easily and is large enough for me to fit in comfortably (6'1 250 lbs). Folding it back up was not as much fun but doable. This is an emergency shelter. It is not meant to replace a multi-use tent but it looks like it is durable enough for several nights in the field.

Not Fire Resistant
They tear a little easy and They are Not Fire resistant as I found out with a recent tent fire when a leaking Propane heater leaked gas on the other side of the tent to a lit Propane heater, It takes thick Insulation to save You from the freezing cold I would Not rely on this alone to save You from the freezing cold.

A little peace of mind!
I have not found it necessary to utilize The Life Tent, so I can’t give a full review. I have used Mylar in the past. Impressed by it’s ability to retain a bit of thermal heat. Mylar also provides a moisture barrier as long as it isn’t damaged.Purchased this item to throw into my toolbox I keep in my truck.Better to have it than not 🧐Recommended
