2 rolls of dark grey kinesiology tape
This is the third brand of kinesiology tape that I’ve used and I’d probably put it in between the two other ones for adhesive properties. This dark grey tape comes as a 2 pack that’s shrink wrapped in plastic. There’s also a plastic wrapping around each roll inside their separate boxes. The included instructions state where to place the tape for the area you need help with, but they don’t explain “how-to” apply the tape. Sometimes you need to stretch the tape and other times you don’t.I was first introduced to kinesiology tape by a friend who’s a rehab nurse before setting off on a 2 week hiking/camping adventure to BSA Philmont. She taught us not to try to use your fingernails to remove the paper backing, but to hold the tape in two hands and ripe the paper apart. The material is elastic, so no harm is done. It works fantastically. She also taught us to use the backside of the paper (that comes off the tape) to rub the tape down to your skin. The tape makes a solid connection to your skin and doesn’t peel off easily. The last trick she taught us was to trim the 4 corners of the tape to rounded corners, which really helps to keep the tape on for multiple days.I walk 3.5 miles a day and do a cardio workout on top of that. Whenever I hurt a muscle I reach for this tape and it really helps. Plus, when I hurt a muscle it lasts multiple days and this tape lasts that long for me. It also survives showers, but I don’t soap over it or rub it.The other use that I use DIRT tape for is when I get a long scrape mark on a leg when doing yard work or any thing else. Bandaids are way too small, so I’ll clean the wound, apply antibiotic ointment, cut a gauze pad to cover it and then apply DIRT on top to hold it together. DIRT tape stays on so much better than bandaids. The bottom of the box has a date on it, “08.01.2026”, which is about 3 years after receiving the tape. Since it’s non-medicated tape I’m surprised there’s a date, but maybe it starts to loose adhesive properties at that time.I’m a fan of kinesiology tape and I’d put this tape

Comes off clean; Slightly weak adhesive and not as water resistant as other tapes
I’ve use many kinesiology tapes over the past year or so, both namebrand and offbrand, and this Dirt brand is pretty comparable to the namebrand K tapes. It is a lot less stickier compared to other tapes that I’ve used, but it also comes off much cleaner and does not damage my skin.Unfortunately, I apply K tape on my hands most of the time and generally after a couple handwashings, this tape will start to peel and fall off. This also leads me to my next point about water resistance: this tape doesn’t really have a lot of water resistance, and just starts absorbing water the moment and touches it, in comparison to a lot of the other K tapes that I have used that I would at least roll the water off instead of absorbing it right away.I also don’t like that the backing paper does not have measurements, so I have no idea how much length I’m cutting, unless I manually measure with a ruler for every cut. This may not be a big deal to most people, but I have a very specific amount of tape I use per application and having measurement points really helps me be consistent.I do like that this tape comes with the box with a cut out to help dispense the tape without having to take out the roll. It’s been very convenient being able to roll out a long strip without having to unbundle the entire role.Overall, I think if you have sensitive skin, this would be a very good tape as the adhesive is not as strong as other tapes, so it would not irritate your skin as much. But if you’re looking for a tape that would last through multiple showers or handwashing I don’t believe that this tape would be a good fit for you.

Does the job but the adhesive could be a bit stronger
The tape is pretty easy to use, although they don't give as much in the name of directions - you are probably better off watching a YouTube video anyway. The tap is broad, slightly stretchy, and comes with a peel-off layer on the adhesive, so it's pretty easy to pull the right length off and cut it before use.In my case, I could do with the tape being a bit stronger, as sometimes it starts coming off at the edges a bit early. Maybe it varies from person to person depending on skin oiliness? But other than that it's a solid product and does the job.
