We love to see a curvaceous doll for our daughters to play with all variations of how bodies come and she is just so beautiful, the colour is lovely, the little arm cast and nail extensions were first noticed by my daughter and we haven't seen her in any shops so she thinks she now has a "rare" doll and I got extra brownie points for that 👌🏻

I am surprised and saddened that there are almost no UK reviews here that weren’t provided the toy for free. So here is a review from somebody who actually paid full RRP for it.This short-lived New Friends line is one of the peaks of this iteration of Rainbow High. The boxes, whilst not being as elaborate as older LOL OMG (that brand also undergoing budget-cuts) playset boxes, still has playset value if you’re willing to be careful and take your time extracting the doll. The backdrops are characterful, and the 3D aspect of the skate ramp is a great touch. This is a massive improvement over all previous boxes (and sadly better than the 2024 reboot boxes), which were bland and simply an overcomplicated method of containing the doll.The doll itself and the new body types this line introduced (which sadly have been dropped entirely for the 2024 reboot), is a great design. Less complicated and high-fashion than previous RH, but youthful and characterful without being stripped back. Had this line actually seen investment beyond three dolls, I think it could have stood toe-to-toe with Monster High. For a brief moment, it seemed like MGA understood the character/scenario roleplay appeal of dolls for children and why Monster High is so successful. But alas.Blu is curvy and comes with accessories that, whilst re-used from the OMG line (making her skateboard comically small), are well-thought-out for her personality and interests, meaning that combined with the box, this is a great value playset. I’m extremely impressed with the ideas here, even if I can see the budget-cuts in the execution.However, the bad parts… anybody with experience of this franchise has likely run across some egregious QC (quality control) problems here or there, and I’m sorry to say that the New Friends line is the worst I have experienced. For a doll advertised as coming with a working skateboard… mine did not. The factory packaged the skateboard without any wheels attached. In addition, her vinyl is permanently warped from how she had been forced into the plastic shell, and like other dolls in the last lines before the reboot (Shadow High series 3 in particular), her clothes have not been pre-treated before shipment, so be ready for 1000 black microfibres from her t-shirt to fly everywhere and get stuck in the crevices of her joints, etc, as well as possibly stain over time. And fly into your lungs.Granted, as an adult I can implement my own fixes to most of this, so I contacted MGA only about the skateboard, which I felt was particularly egregious. Unfortunately they would not consider helping/providing spare parts, meaning the whole doll has to be returned to Amazon. This seems incredibly wasteful, as a broken/incomplete product, I think it may just be destroyed/taken to landfill. I am not sure why MGA US will provide spare parts/similar consumer support, but MGA EU won’t, considering the EU’s stricter rules on waste, but something to bear in mind if you face the same problem.So, for £29.99, whilst I can overlook mass-produced QC issues, Blu not coming with one of her actual selling-point accessories I think isn’t acceptable, and I also think having to return a product for likely environment-harming destruction when a spare part service should be available for a while after product release isn’t acceptable in 2024. Whilst this review isn’t for Lilac, I experienced even more severe QC issues with that doll, leading me to suspect that this may be common for the line.Had the doll not had these problems, I’d give it five stars even though you can see the cracks in the RH budget showing through. They reused old accessories very well here, and the design of the doll and the box and whole package in general is excellent. If you can overlook QC issues, or - hopefully - are lucky enough to not get any, I truly think the New Friends line offers one of the best RH lines they ever made. A great combination of their previous level of quality and detail with a more youthful roleplay-driven direction without cutting out articulation or diversity. I recommend purchasing these whilst they are still available, they’re a bittersweet and underrated ending to this generation of Rainbow High, but a high note to go out on.

This is a premium quality highly detailed fashion doll which looks cool , Blu Brooks rainbow high fashion doll has some cool accessories too including a skateboard , drinks bottle , music player and even has a cast on her arm, the detail of the doll is superb, the eyes look really colourful and detailed eyelashes look really nice too.The doll is a good size , bigger than your average barbie type of doll this is 11 inches , almost a foot long with long blue hair and a cool detailed outfit including stripy socks and sneakers.The detail and quality of the rainbow high fashion dolls is very good , they do have a premium look and quality, each one is unique and stylish in their own way , these would be good to collect for people who like collecting dolls but this also makes a fun interactive toy to play with for children and a good way to help interaction with friends and siblings as they make fun toys too they are really well made.There are small parts so supervision is needed near younger children and toddlers.But overall this doll is very good quality.

this is a very nice doll, its a present for my daughter on Christmas day I'm sure she will be so pleased as she loves this brand of dolls. the doll is bigger than expected also nice presentation in a large box , vibrant green colour and lots of accessories too. looks well made with great level of details perfect for role play .great gift idea also.
