Not intended for US 120V
These are some of the best power strips on the market but be aware US users, this will function in the US but will not provide the same level of protection a 120V Isobar would. So this is best for countries that use 230V with NEMA 5-15 outlets whatever countries those are

WELL BUILT
NOT SURE ABOUT THE SURGE PROTECTION. ONE MACHINE DID HAVE A MOTOR BLOW OUT. TECH SAID IT HAD RECEIVED A SURGE. SO AS FAR AS SURGE PROTECTION I RATE THIS PRODUCT A (D) . BUILD QUALITY IS VERY GOOD THOUGH . BUT I WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN,

22 years later and still going strong
The Tripp Lite and Isobar were part of computer equipment I was issued when I had an admin/finance position for an NGO in Cambodia in 1992. The NGO ended its work a couple of years later and I was left the job of closing up the office. I was tasked with distributing all of the NGO's assets - computers, generators, walkie talkies etc. - to local NGO's. My only personal requests was to have the Tripp Lite and Isobar for my own personal use, to which they agreed. I did offer to pay for them, but that was declined. We had lived in a province that had no electricity, so we ran on a clunky - but workable - 5kv generator during the day. All the computer equipment was hooked up to the Tripp Lite and Isobar. Needless to say, everything survived all the fluctuations, lighting strikes etc.Twenty-two years later, and many upgrades on computer equipment - they are still as good as they were when I first used them. The only issue is the Tripp Lite LCD light has faded a little - but is still giving protection.I am still in Cambodia (Phnom Penh) and now running a business - and still use the very same Tripp Lite and Isobar. I have high-end personal computer and accessories running into many $$$ and would never dream of hitching up anything without this protection. There is really nothing else to say, except that; this company (from my own experience) makes stellar products that are really second to none.

Brilliant Service!
This is a 5 star company that produces, possibly, the best surge protectors on the market today. I bought this unit for my work in South America (In Peru there are huge electrical fluctuations - I have seen a spike of 420 volt!).With this Isobar, my computers always have been protected. When I had a problem (I spilt coffee on the unit) the on/off light switch went out, but the surge protector continued. When I came back the USA and called about repairing it, the response was ... "don't worry, we will send you a new one this week." Wow! I expected a hassle, but I got excellent customer service. I would definitely buy another product from the company. You pay more, but you truly get more. Highly recommended.

Solid build
very hearty. built super strong. ill be using this on deployment where i will have 220-240v 60hz with an american plug. keeps me from worrying that ill fry my laptop power brick. i know, i know, laptop power bricks and even most phone charger blocks are dual voltage, but that does nothing for you if you get a power surge or spike. this thing will trip the breaker and keep your electronics from being fried. worth the piece of mind and the costly replacement of a new laptop or 360.

Good
I'm using this as a surge protector in Italy for my computer and printers. It seems to be working fine so far. I haven't been brave enough to plug my TV and apple tv into the second one I purchased. I hear so many horror stories about people blowing up their equipment overseas when using 220 vs 110. Currently the tv and apple tv are plugged into a transformer.
