New BalanceWomen's FuelCell 990 V6 Sneaker

Both of us (husband and wife) love this model of shoe for everyday wear, as well as walking/hiking. They come in a wider range of sizes and widths than any other brand and model of shoe we have been able to find (critical for us, since we have wide feet). They are comfortable, and wear well. Also, they are still made in the USA!

My doctor recommended the 990, because they are deeper in the toe & have a nice arch. It’s my second pair of 990s. They’re rather expensive, but are so comfortable & last so long that I feel they’re worth it. They run true to size or the least bit larger.

After buying and returning 4 pairs of shoes, I finally found these. The fit is perfect for my flat feet and I have a lot of support. They were a little more than I wanted to spend, but it's exactly what I have been look for in a shoe.

These shoes are really comfortable if you are walking and on your feet throughout the day. I have wide feet for a woman and I went a half size down from my true size because this shoe runs a little long. Other than that, going a half size down fits perfectly. They are not as firm and heavy as a shoe like the Nike Air Max, but they still provide a fair amount of stability and support. I definitely recommend this shoe for active people and I personally plan on buying another pair when this one gets old.

I saw online that this shoe is supposedly good for people who need a wide toe box. My feet are squished in my shoes because of orthotics that I need to wear so I ordered this shoe. Yes, the toe box is wide, but the middle part of the shoe between the heel and the toes is extremely narrow. When you look at the outline of the shoe it's almost like an hour glass with a wide heel and a wide toe box and a skinny part in between. It was so uncomfortable I didn't even walk around in it because it was smashing my foot before I even took a step. I can't imagine who this shoe fits.

I wish they shipped with navy and white laces as I prefer navy more. No arch support - I had to add my arch support insoles but overall really comfy and good looking shoe.

Love these shoes. One of the only casual sneakers I have found that offers wide sizes. This is my second pair- they have lasted me daily wear for 2 years, excited to have another pair!

I have worn the NB 990v5 in a 7 1/2 Wide for many years so was leery about the changes in the v6. Since most were saying the shoe ran large, I came down a half size and ordered a 7 Wide. Initially, they just didn't fi and I was disappointed. Then I realized I couldn't get them laced comfortably because the laces are way to short especially in a wide shoe. So, I pulled the laces out of my old pair and used those. Now they are a perfect fit. And I think they're a nice looking shoe.
