An excellently made product but pay attention to measurements and size up
The media could not be loaded. This is a really well made product. Nice varied materials, with gloss, matt and then rubbery white dots to stop you sliding. The blue and the black looks good and the stitching is tidy. They are well padded with a soft inner lining. There's a soft expanding sleeve you put your arm through and then velcro straps for added security. You need to read the measurement guide though. Probably like most buyers I just read the description which said for 12+. So I thought getting Medium for my 11 year old (and he's only just 11 a week ago) would give him some space to grow into them. However the legs he only allowed me to put on for the review as it was a massive struggle. I managed to get the sleeve over his leg but we couldn't get the velcro to connect around his legs. The elbow pads however fit him fine. It's the legs that come up tight. So to summarise, a very nicely made product at a reasonable price. I'd size up though to give you space as they come up small. I feel a bit mean for knocking off a star for that but I'm not sure how many people will get a tape measure out before ordering....

Excellent Knee & Elbow Protection Pad Set - A Confidence Booster!
I recently purchased the Knee & Elbow Protection Pad Set - Combo Pack by Osprey for my daughter, and I must say, these pads have been an absolute game-changer for her as she learns how to ride her bike and roller skate. Not only have they minimized the risk of serious injury, but they have also significantly boosted her confidence, allowing her to push her limits and explore her newfound skills more comfortably.First and foremost, the fit of these pads was spot-on for my daughter. They hugged her knees and elbows perfectly without being too tight or restrictive, ensuring her comfort during extended use. She actually enjoys wearing them, which is a testament to their comfort level. The quality of these pads is outstanding. The materials used seem durable, and the stitching appears to be top-notch. They exude a premium feel that sets them apart from similar products we've used in the past. This reassures us that they can effectively absorb hard impacts and withstand the rigors of active play. One thoughtful addition to this set is the included mesh storage bag. It's a small detail that makes a big difference. In the past, we've lost individual pads in random storage bags, but this mesh bag helps keep everything organized and in one place. It's a practical touch that demonstrates Osprey's attention to detail and consideration for the user's convenience.Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Osprey Knee & Elbow Protection Pad Set - Combo Pack. It not only offers superior protection but also instils confidence in young riders and skaters. With its quality materials, comfortable fit, and thoughtful extras like the mesh storage bag, it's a product that provides both safety and peace of mind. Investing in these pads was a wise decision for us, and I believe they'll prove to be the same for anyone in need of reliable knee and elbow protection.

Not bad
I have been after something a bit more substantial for my son to use on his skateboard and scooter as he had a nasty fall and his protection needed replacing because of this, don't get me wrong it done the job well but he was finding his pads a little tight and would hurt behind his knees with the elastic. This is a bit better but he does struggle to get it on even though we got the right size for him. I feel that they maybe a little on the small size. There is good protection there and I understand they need to be snug but he should be able to get them on easier.

Good quality but sizing is all wrong - SIZE UP!!
Quality items, better than expected but ruined by the sizing.Others have mentioned this too.Size S and the elbow pads fit my 8yr old (size of a 10yr old) with loads of adjustment to spare. Should fit for a few years.Oh dear! The knee pads are so small he can't wear them as they are too tight. There's the elastic sleeve then 2 wrap around velcro straps.Even with just the sleeve over his legs they're too tight. The straps are even tighter, the velcro barely touches to stick until it's been pulled so tight it's visually obvious that it's digging in without hearing his complaints, and boy did he complain! To get knee pads that fit, size up to have any chance but be prepared that the elbows may then be too big.

Quality pads and protection - remember to check the sizes
This is a well made elbow and knee-pad kit, offering hard shell outer casing on the outside and soft foam to minimize impact against your knees and elbows. You slip your arms and legs into an elasticated stocking that grips your knees/elbows, then secure with elasticated velcro straps.Check the sizes carefully both the elbow and the knee measurements. I bought mine for my 5yr old, but small was too small for her, so we've given to her cousin (7) who is a better fit.Pads are good quality, just check the description to get the correct size!

Size L fits a skinny tall 16 yr old boy and a size 10 adult woman.
I picked these up to try for my son as he has just started ice skating and is nervous of falling. Is he very tall and skinny (16 years old). These are more for skateboarding than ice skating as they have the hard shells but they will do initially. Fit wise they are big enough and fit him and also me (size 10 female).I’m thinking we might try and pull the hard shell off for the future to turn them into softer knee pads, but either way they do work, and fit well. He can either pull up over his joggers or underneath.
