The item arrived on time and looks nice.However I am not sure of its success as a fly curtain and its longevity - the bamboo tubes get progressively thinner further down until they are really thin and fine at the bottom.Consequently the gaps between strands get wider so far less effective stopping insects coming in, and if any strands get caught with your feet or in the doorframe they break off. Several have already split for this reason and this is quite noticeable. It is an expensive product relatied to its lack of robustness.

This is so beautiful, the colours and detail are so striking. The flamingo gives an instant focal point and character to a room. It's quite heavy, being made of wood and bamboo, so it does need strong hooks to sit on. I have it hanging at the back door, which is often left open. It has enough weight not to fly about in the wind, and a few light showers haven't damaged it. It also keeps flies out, which was why I bought it. I previously had a string curtain, which flies would laugh at on their way into the house, but we've had no flies since getting this. It isn't fully dog proof, if you have a dog that likes to nibble furniture you may want to tie this curtain out of reach if you leave the dog alone in the house because the soft bamboo seems to be quite an enticing option. A lovely and highly effective bead curtain, well worth the money.

These are attractive blinds that can be cut down if too wide. We used 3 3/4 across a set of bifold doors. They look good and stop the flies from entering the house. They don't blow about when there is a breeze like our previous lightweight ribbon ones did. Because we were happy with our purchases, we bought 3 of the "Cranes" blinds for another set of doors.

This product is certainly not good value for the money it cost! a few of the bamboo strips have already dropped off! And Parts of the curtain keep dropping off! Not happy with it at all! And this in my opinion was not a cheap item, not good value for money cheaply made! Will not buy again!

It doesn’t stop the flies but looks amazing on the door.
