One of them is seductively played by Julie Delpy, who is rescued from attempted suicide by an American tourist (Tom Everett Scott, from That Thing You Do!) but ultimately can't hide her dual identity when darkness falls and the full moon shines. The movie begins well, but gradually succumbs to nonsense and mayhem, prompting critic Roger Ebert to observe that "here are people we don't care about, doing things they don't understand, in a movie without any rules." Overlooked 90's Classic
This movie was bad mouthed by so many but I defy the critics to find better. Of course everyone loves the first but this movie holds its own and was imitated by many. Just like Crow:City Of Angels; die hard fans of an original movie are too blind to see the beautiful /dark qualities of an original sequel. The original London film had a great atmosphere and ONE GOOD SPECIAL EFFECTS SCENE...ONE BUT I LOVE THIS MOVIE MUCH MORE. Don't ever forget that werewolves are fake...and this movie was meant to be fun mixed with dark humor. Julie Deply was amazing and Tom Everett Scott was great at being the "normal dude". Cool horror/revenge werewolf story from the 90's with a silly yet interesting and original plot and with a funny but sweet love story attached.Great Classic flick with an AMAZING soundtrack (Bush-Mouth remix).

What more could you expect?
What more could you expect? I remember seeing this in theaters when it came out i was about 19 or 20 and went with a date. Cheezy horror movies are best to bring a date to. The soundtrack is cool even by todays standards, I have always been a big fan of werewolf movies and just loved American werewolf in London. This movie i was told is no longer in print and i had been looking for some time to add it to my werewolf collection on DVD, when i saw it i just had to get it and the price was alot cheaper than i expected. Like my title suggest's what more could you expect, this is a great werewolf movie if thats what your in the market for, if you desire great dialog and plot without corny oneliners every 10 mins then this is not a film for you. Again its awesome for what it was intended to be, Lupines Live On!

An American Classic
This film is a sequel to "An American Werewolf in London," a wonderful, but extremely thin movie. I think this one is infinitely better than the original. The bad guys are more charasmatic, the love story is deeper, and the main character has many more layers. The special effects are super and the script is well written. This is one of my favorite horror movies of all time.Comedy in a horror is done wrong in a LOT of cases, but not in this case. The main character is haunted by the ripped up corses of the people he killed as a werewolf. One of them is a beautiful girl, and she's... So she spends her time on camera trying all kinds of ways to trick him into killing himself or to get him killed.Good flick. Buy it today!

A howl of a good movie
An American Werewolf in Paris is a really good movie. It's definitely predictable and cheesy, but a fun movie to watch. I really like how they managed to put in a little bit of everything for everybody such as romance, comedy, and mild gore. The actors are really good in it also. I highly recommend this movie to anybody who likes fun low budget horror movies. Tom Everett Scott is a very good underrated actor who deserves more credit then what everybody gives him. Go out buy this movie and have a fun time watching it.

Isn't the versión that show in te picture.
The DVD that i recibe isn't the versión that show in te picture (Not the widescreen version); that is a disappointment for the constumer. Please AMAZON be more careful of the advertansing in your web.

American werewolf swims the English Channel.
It has an innovative gallic touch peppering up the werewolf series. Not really scary but well done. Good director & photography. For some reason it's a hard-to-get-ahold-of DVD. At least in the Contient. I collect movies about werewolves and this one comes as a nice addition.
