Amazing product!!!
This is a fantastic product! We bought this for my son's Avalanche. We did not like the fake wood grain that came with the truck, so we thought we would try this out. It worked fantastic! I would say you absolutely need a heat gun. My son and I have never done this before, but were ecstatic with the outcome. Due to being perfectionists, we might redo some of the parts, but I posted some pictures below. We forgot to do a before/after, so the first picture is a stock photo of what the interior looked like prior.

Too stiff for fine work and dashboards
Though the stuff truly looks great, it's not at all workable for anything but flat or mildly curved pieces. Using a heat gun (even on a low setting) only caused the vinyl to bubble. The adhesive was too aggressive, too, which trapped air more than on other applications I've done (which did not "release", as stated in the product description). Even more troublesome, the surprisingly stiff vinyl creased and turned white on those creases (which did not go away with heat, or pressure) when attempting to position it onto the work.I'm a fairly accomplished DIY-er who was trying to woodgrain the dashboard of a sports car. This material might work well for refinishing relatively flat surfaces where flexibility is a minimal concern (as seen in some positive reviews), but, for my application, it was a bit of a disaster.

My table turned out AWESOME, highly recommend this product!
Okay so I was very nervous about this project, because I know from doing large format signage that once your vinyl is down it’s stuck and you’re stuck with it, you only get once chance to make it look good. I was also nervous about the direction of the faux wood grain because of the reviews, but mine was going the correct way. I wrapped a 96” x 42”(I think) table and it did have a few tiny bubbles(probably because I did it near a hot sunny window?, but they released by the next day, I had to take a thin safety pen to pop a few bigger bubbles—I recommend barely doing it and on the textured faux wood part so it doesn’t show. All in all the table looks AMAZING and brand new! I’m so happy with the project! Also I ordered shelf support brackets to protect my corners, it gave it a nice industrial finishing touch while protecting it. If you can and have straight edge table corners, I recommend doing that as well if you plan to use the vinyl for a table so kids don’t pick at it!

White - Before, Black - After
Completely changed the look of the kitchen cabinets! Looks great! Had old kitchen cabinets in a rental unit that we cannot paint The wood grain looks really nice and looks high quality. It requires A LOT of attention to detail to ensure that there are no air-bubbles and creases. Also - once you lay it down, it's not very easy to re-position because it becomes slightly stretched / mis-shaped and doesn't lay as flat once it's been pulled off. Overall - looks great, but definitely required a good amount of time and work to get it done. Would also recommend working with the direction of the wood-grain as that was easier to get it to lay flat.

Good cover
Purchased the vinyl to cover a desktop that had seen it's better days. Worked like a charm. Sides and and corners are a bit tricky, but with patience, can be done. My desk looks 100% better now. It might be a bit cumbersome to some due to the size of the sheet and the fact that it's got an adhesive backing. Go slow.

Mature and elegant, just the way I like it 😊
Didnt want carbon fiber, but didnt want polished old man oak either. Love the way it tranformed my bmw wood panels to a sophisticated earth tone. Many compliments given. Note, I am a more seasoned vinyl installer, this material isnt super easy but is far from hardest to install. Plenty of videos showing how to do it.Weird note, the adhesive had a very... funky smell. Not noticeable when installed thankfully.

Just WOW!
Bought an Ikea hanging table - the one that you screw to the wall and you can prop up when you want to use it or just leave it hanging down. The only color this came in was a basic cafeteria white color. So I purchased this Vinyl Wrap and it literally TRANSFORMED the table and whole look of the room. Yes, it is textured and super easy to apply (according to my boyfriend since he did it). Legit looks like black wood and I couldn't give this product anymore stars!!

It seems very difficult to find a nice black wood vinyl so I was happy to find this. The product was easy to work with and it covered the interior trim in my Kia Soul nicely. I don't think it looks very realistic but the texture adds a nice low-key look and feel. Probably not a wrap for your beamer but worked great on the Kia.
