This is a brilliant innovation and excellent value for money
This is a brilliant innovation and excellent value for money. It solved the problem of wanting good hygiene without clogging up the sewerage system with wet wipes - I wonder that the water companies do not encourage purchase with a discount. While relatively easy to fit for a DIY-er, the plastic T fittings are the weak point (as mentioned in other reviews): apart from being inevitably of weak construction, they are not particularly well made and do not mate as well as they might with existing fittings. In my installation, one went in with no problem, but the other leaked, fractured because of over-tightening, and needed re-machining on my lathe (a tool not everyone has). Unfortunately, there is no readily available brass equivalent among British plumbing fittings (the tapping is for a 8mm OD/5mm ID tube). If the manufacturers had used 1/4" (6.3mm) tubing, they could have utilised the fittings used for water filters, with saddle-valves that self-bore into existing pipe work without breaking any connections, but there you go. The 2m length of tube supplied proved insufficient for me, despite the wash basin being next to the lavatory - it pays to check first and buy more (5mm bore) plastic tube from B&Q. Despite these minor problems, I am absolutely delighted with this product, which is otherwise well made and works a treat.Post Review Comment: As a follow-on to my review above, if the amount of tubing supplied proves insufficient then I would advise against using the general purpose 5mm tubing from B&Q (as I initially recommended) as a long term solution; such tubing is not really up to the pressures and temperatures that might be encountered and will fail eventually. I recommend obtaining a more robust polyurethane tubing (8mm OD/5.5mm ID) from www.hoseworld.com as this has the required specification for mains water pressure at up to 70 degC.

Avoid at all costs
While the product has the potential to do as described, it is less than ideal for a number of reasons;1) As mentioned by the previous reviewer the fittings are not suitable for connection to UK pipe work and additional adapters are needed.2) The plastic connectors are very flimsy and although I managed to avoid breaking them, I can see how the previous reviewer would have done.3) Assuming you overcome the fitting problems, you have to waste a lot of water (to purge the cold water from the hot water pipe work), before you get any hot water from the jet4) It only has a single fixed nozzle which is less than ideal5) After being fitted for just a day it sprung a leakWhen I contacted the seller about these issues in a very polite manner, he wrote back in a very defensive and aggressive manner, with some very misleading statements about how the connection problem could be solved. After I wrote back to him in response, he accused me of harassing him with endless emails!!!!Just to be clear, that was after JUST TWO emails.I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase of this product to;1) Think again and find a better alternative2) If you feel this is the product for you despite the issues I've mentioned, try and find another seller who actually knows how to deal with customers in a correct and polite manner.

The unit itself works well and looks fine just the design reduces the pressure and usefulness
This bidet attachment is just about adequate. I would have returned it but paid £170 to have it plumbed in so have kept it. The main problem is water pressure to give a strong enough washing jet, despite having the required mains pressure. The very narrow plastic tubes from the mains supply to the unit considerably reduces the power of the jet & therefore effectiveness of the posterior wash. I've been in Turkey a lot where these are built into the toilet bowl and connected to the mains supply via the standard bore piping. It also does not fit under my fairly standard Twyford toilet seat. The width of adjustment is too narrow but the plumber managed to make it fit.The threads on one of the plastic T connections were faulty but he managed to tape it up.The unit itself works well and looks fine just the design reduces the pressure and usefulness.

Every toilet should have one
Excellent product only been installed I day and it's just brilliant.I have been spoilt by having a stand-alone bidet in my previous bathrooms but my new on-suite did not have the room for a toilet and a bidet, this has solved the problem. It's a very clever simple design that works extremely well using just water pressure and not electricity. We are an Anglo-Swiss family and over the years I have considered many types of `fit- in- the- toilet' type bidet on offer in Europe but most are either very expensive and/or to complicated and inconvenient to use. This is the best I have come across and at the price makes it's almost the bargain of the year. My only criticism is the T fittings supplied are designed only for screw fitting to metal pipe work, in my case I have poly-plastic push fit water pipes so I had to make my own modified T fittings. Apart from that I found it very easy to install. Offering push fit T pieces would make the fitting kit more universal. Only time will tell how robust the unit is.

The actual main part of the fitting is fine and reasonably well made
The actual main part of the fitting is fine and reasonably well made, but the connection fittings are very cheap plastic and are not simple to fit to standard UK copper piping. I received two different fittings one of which didn't fit any UK pipe fitting and on the other the screw thread stripped and would not seal. Luckily the vendor was very good and replaced the fittings very quickly. 5 Stars for the vendor but only 3 stars for the product.

Great gadget and excellent service
Like many here I also had problems joining the t connecting pipe to the mains. We snapped the pipe very easily but happily the supplier sent me another very quickly. This time we used tons of tape on the joint rather than twist too tightly and it works fine.Everyone loves the bidet. One star taken off because of the plastic fittings but they do work... Eventually
