Lenka's Hand Made Glass Terrarium Hand crafted by stained glass artist Lenka, this geometric terrarium would be a lovely treat for yourself or a gift for a friend or loved one for any occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, Valentine's Day or a housewarming gift. Glass terrariums display the plants beautifully as the light is reflected through the glass panels and you can see the plants from every angle. The light reflecting through the glass panels also means the terrariums are perfect to fill with glass beads or small stones and display on a windowsill in any room. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Glass terrarium will be treated with a protective layer of wax. There is no need to clean the terrarium when newly unpacked - all you need to do is use a clean cloth and, without any cleaning products or water, dry buff the terrarium. If any smudges remain use your breath to steam the glass and buff again. PROCESS OF MAKING: Lenka individually hand cut each glass piece and solder them together using a traditional stained glass method called a tiffany technique. Soldering work is then costumised to a customer's preference by applying a chemical solution on seams. The black patina gives this piece a wonderful vintage look. A stained glass polish will be applied prior to dispatch to ensure the piece will sparkle in your home.
