This is a great look! I love plaid flannels and wearing one like this as a jacket is something I do often. Sadly, this one ran a bit big for me. It looks more like I am wrapped in a flannel sheet than a shirt. I love it so much, it just doesn't fit. But, even though I won't wear it out in public due to the size, it will make a great jacket/housecoat for the winter when my husband won't let me turn up the thermostat! :)

Mind you, I like this shirt a lot and am sure I'll wear it often. But to clarify, the fabric is fairly thin flannel - I wouldn't classify it as a jacket, coat, "shacket" or anything other than a shirt. I'm not a person who gets cold easily, but I'd never depend on this to keep me warm without something warm under it if the temperature was much below 60 degrees.Other than that, I love the traditional lumberjack-type Buffalo plaid - I got blue and black - and I especially love the two roomy side pockets. For the record, the stitching around one of the buttonholes is frayed, but that happens easily with flannel. Just because I was afraid it might run a bit small, I got one size larger than my usual - and I'm glad I did. It's plenty long - it actually falls below my knees, in fact (hint: I stand 5 feet 4 inches tall) - but sideways I think my regular size would have been a little on the small side. As it is, there's plenty of room for a t-shirt or even lightweight sweater underneath. Add a pair of skinny jeans (I'm not a fan of leggings) and I'm good to go. In fact, I like it so much I may get one in another plaid - there are five others from which to choose, and I love them all.

If you are a fan of layering, this shirt might just be what you are looking for. It is a medium weight flannel and would work well as a light jacket over a shirt. I found it to be a little too roomy for my taste. However, if I had gone down a size, it probably would have been tight in the hips.

This is a great button down to wear over something casually for fall. It’s long so be aware of that and pretty big fabric isn’t stiff but not super soft in between very nice.

I agree with another reviewer - this definitely isn't a "shacket," jacket, or anything of the sort. This isn't going to keep you warm by itself when temps drop to the 60s. It's essentially an oversized plaid button up. Nothing more, nothing less. It's oversized and is comfy. The material is nice and isn't itchy or stiff. It's the perfect addition to anyone's fall wardrobe. I've only worn it once but the weather has been a bit all over the place here in MI. The closer we get to October, the more excited I get to be able to wear this on a regular basis.

This shirt is comfortable and cute. It fits just right. It also washes nicely. I will be wearing in a lot. It's become a favorite.

What a great shirt! First of all, it really should be said that this is less a shacket than it is a flannel shirt. It's much too lightweight to be considered a jacket, by any means. Don't expect this to be a barn coat or anything that will succeed in cold weather. Look somewhere else for this. But for fall weather, or to bring along to an event where the temperature could swing 10-15 degrees while you're there, this is perfect. It's very long - I'm 5'11" and this goes way past the tips of my fingers and hits mid-calf. It is great paired with a tee and leggings. The lighter weight makes it perfect for layering. Highly recommend this one! I would purchase more.

I’ve been having issues with sizes running small lately on Amazon. This one is actually true to size based on the fact that I ordered a size larger than normal and it fits oversized. It is also very long and baggy. I think it will be great around the house on a cold fall or winter day. It is very soft and will be great to snuggle up in. I love the red/black Buffalo plaid and the fact that the fabric is so soft is great.
