They are very well-made and beautiful. However, they are both too small for my fingers - looks like I could be a giant in China LOL. The silver once can squeeze through the index finger and might be usable. I wish there was a XL size.

Great solid thimble for hand sewing. I use it to push a big needle through canvas. The small round divots give a perfect purchase for the needle. Nothing slips.I thought they were pricey. But it turns out it was money well spent.10/10 would buy again.

One feature of this thimble set is that on one side there are thimble divets, but on the other side there are open horizontal bars, which enable the twisting and closure of jumprings. This is a great additional function if you also make jewelry.The sizes of these thimbles do run large, but is it possible to use the thimble higher up in the finger which means readjusting sewing habits. This may or may not be desirable.I also took a star away for value because I feel that ~$5 is steep for a thimble.The metal of these thimble designs is quite thick, and the rows of divets make pushing the needle though thick layers a lot easier and supports good needle control.The smaller sizes were not available when I selected this item for review. It's a good product with room for improvement, and therefore overall, I feel deserves a 4-star recommendation.

This thimble is perfect. It fits comfortably around my finger just where I want it to. It's very sturdy but light, and it's right there to push a needle through thick fabric the second I need it, but not in the way when I don't need it. I would recommend it to anyone, and wouldn't mind having another one in stainless steel.

Tried many styles. Like this one the best. It's sturdy, stays in place, doesn't interfere with needlework.

I was really happy to add these to my sewing tools. The best part about them are the tiny pockets to hold the needle while you push the need through the fabric. This keeps the needle from slipping and poking you with the threaded end, that also hurts a lot if it hits a nearby finger. Ouch! So these are GREAT. If you have to hand sew any kind of heavier fabrics or details, tacking, leather, and such, these should be in your kit.I use these on my middle finger because it's stronger to push the needle through. Just use whichever finger is best for you.Add these to a sewing notion gift with some quality needles, threads, and seam ripper.

I needed a thimble for a larger size finger, which seem to be very hard to find. The larger size is perfect for me. I hadn't used a ring style before (only the full finger tip cup), but I have no issues with this style.

What a shame I had to return this set. So well made, except way too big for my fingers. They will be great for those with large hands.

These do not for a man’s fingers. They are waaaay to small.
