Snapware(Snapware) Kitchen Supplies/Dishes Storage containers/canisters/Other, Clear, Blue and Brown

20 years ago, I bought several Snapware containers at a kiosk in a shopping mall. It was one of the best purchases I ever made! Now, years later, having lost a number of pieces (e.g., a guest taking leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner and never returning the Snapware the food was in), I was thrilled to see that I could buy Snapware on Amazon. The new Snapware is basically a more robust version of what I bought before: great seal; durable; easy to clean. When trying to replace Snapware pieces over the years, I've bought a Rubbermaid container every once in a while because they were at our local supermarket, but they have not held up. They couldn't handle my mistakes, like the times when I have forgotten to turn off the heated dry feature of the dishwasher after having put the container on the lower rack. Such mistakes never affected Snapware; they've never warped, and their seals continue to hold. Sometimes, companies - having established their brand - cut manufacturing costs and deliver a cheaper product in order to maximize profit. Snapware seems to have gone the other way, producing an even better product than before.

I use these for the food I make for my husband who is a truck driver. I make all his food and these are the best I've found so far. Absolutely no water gets into them from being in the cooler as the ice melts, I love the seal. unlike the rubbermaid type containers which do. They are expensive as I usually only buy the 2 cup rectangle but I did buy this for household use with a couple pieces he uses as well. One of the flaps on the 3 cup round has broken off after only a couple uses, but still seals perfectly with only 3. I write on them with a sharpie, identifying the contents and they do scrub off easily with the occasional hard to remove one. They don't retain any odors or colors. The hubby uses them in the microwave as it's his only source of heating food in the truck, but I do not at home. There is minimal blistering though, unlike rubbermaid.

These are GREAT! There is an oily protective residue so make sure you wash before use. If you hate the pocking from microwaving foods, DO NOT USE IN MICROWAVE. Also, don’t cut anything in these. The material is what I would call “soft”. I also only hand wash to maintain the silicone seal. They’re not space friendly. Tupperware brand has those locking lids for easy storage, these are not like that.So why 5 stars? Unless you get pyrex, tupperware is GOING to have downsides. I give five stars because these are thick walled (won’t break easy). They are FANTASTIC if you travel with food (lunches etc). As long as they stay snapped, they will not spill. I travel a lot so these have been my saving grace from spills in my car or lunch bag.For me, these are five star... they may not be for you.

These containers are FANTASTIC. They are significantly more durable than any similar products I’ve used, and they’re dishwasher safe. Once the lids are snapped on, you don’t have to worry about the seal on the container. No leaking liquids, no lids getting knocked off in your bag. They also don’t get melty or soft in the microwave like many plastic containers. 100% recommend! This is the upgrade you need if you want plastic storage containets!

I love this Snapware set. It has a variety of sizes that I use all the time. It doesn't have tiny sizes that I never use. The lids are air-tight. No leaks! Sturdy plastic. I wash my Snapware in the top rack of the dishwasher with low drying heat. The BEST part is each piece stacks together perfectly and the lids nest together, as well.

Great product to keep your foods fresh, n longer then with out them.Easy to release n reseal.I used a old one some one gave me for a camping trip. I had sliced Tomato in it for hamburgers. The tomato we did not use stayed fresh the hole time.The container also stopped my foods from getting water logged in the ice chest. Great food saver. Easy to open n close. 100% satisfied.

My daughter had a set of these and I had to have a set too!! Durability and easy to stack & store were my initial reasons to have to have them. Now I discover they keep food fresher for a longer period of time than the other brands. I love mine and highly recommend these. You can wash them in the dishwasher but to me they don't maintain their nice shine so mine will be hand washed❤👍
