This "smart speaker" has been an excellent replacement for my orphaned Logictech Squeezeboxes. I was wanting an Android based radio that would be able to take updates as needed from Pandora, Slacker, and Amazon Music services. As these updates come fairly often having another non-upgradable radio was just not needed.I have found nothing that I don't like about this radio. It's got excellent sound with decent bass and very good treble that is actually better than what it was replacing. It's got plenty of volume and doesn't distort when cranked up. The tablet based Android system is very easy to use. It was very simple to download all the apps and get them on the built in launcher (which I believe you don't have to use).It has a very nice display with a high res screen and quad core to speed it along. I downloaded a few video apps on the speaker and it plays them with no issue. Though this was mainly bought for the radio features.We'll probably get another one as my wife seemed very impressed.

I was looking for an internet radio and came across a range of products that combine an android tablet with an audio system. At first I wasn't sure if that is what I was looking for but then realized that with a tablet, I could run other apps as well, like home automation including Nest, security cameras, etc. This product was priced right to check it out. While it runs Android 6 and is sometimes a little slow to respond, its more than adequate for the job of 'internet radio'. I loaded the Pandora and I Heart Radio apps and was off and running.The sound quality is great and the 7 inch display is easy to read. It comes with a launcher program that allows you to run your favorite apps without having to navigate Android, if you choose, which makes it nice in the middle of the night if all you want to do is check the time.It will also function as a Bluetooth speaker (haven't tried this yet) and includes other features as well that you'd expect from a tablet. One thing curiously missing is an FM radio which is common on some Android devices, but this device doesn't have one. One final feature, it includes a built in battery for 'portable' operation. I haven't tried to use it on the go as it's a little awkward to carry around, but it does make it nice to put on a proper table top to set up and down load new applications.Yes, I'd buy it again. I did notice that the same company has an Android 7 version at a higher price - but I'm happy with the older model for now. Unless you're a power tablet user, you'll be fine with this too. Its perfect for bedside or desktop functionality.

Did you notice they have a new model out? I hope that one is faster than this one. On the plus slide, it does what it says it will, but it's so slow! Did I mention it's slow? I was trying to find a good replacement for my Logitech Squeezebox, and this is as close as I have gotten. But I wish it had buttons for presets - this is a touchscreen tablet with speakers on a stand. Nothing more, nothing less. And it's as close as I've come to replacing my Squeezebox, which is a plus as long as your patient. They've marked it down to unload the old stock, but I would check out the newer model if I were shopping now.

Was able to get Netflix APK from company, and now we have two of the units in use in our home. They work good with the Google launcher. We are able now to use YouTube, Amazon Video and Music, Pandora and I heart music. I would buy a couple more of these at the right price

For what it's designed for (media streaming) this is a good product. I was worried about the sound quality but this thing sounds awesome. Be aware though that this is not a high powered device tablet wise. It has just enough processor power to do its job and that's about it. If you were thinking about doing any sort of gaming on the side you will be disappointed. The battery life is limited (what is claimed, not a minute more) if you keep the screen off most of the time. The biggest knock is the proprietary power cord. Come on guys, it's 2018. Standard USB connectivity is expected. Still a good purchase but it could have been great.

Overall, this is a nice product. Screen resolution is good and clear. Android OS, so familiar interface. Speakers are good and strong. Battery life is good, but I mostly use it plugged in.This would be a 5 star review, but Netflix is not available for it on Google play (even though product pictures include shots of Netflix) there are work arounds, but feels deceptive to show the product with an app that is not easily installed.Other than the Netflix thing, this is a great product.

The unit has worked ok so far, but I find it very slow. As long as I just use it for internet radio (which is why I bought it) it works ok, but setting it up was a nightmare. It kept freezing on me I would have to restart it over and over again and when I contacted the company about the freezing issues I got a response asking for photos.... really? Photos of a frozen screen? Not sure how that can help... but anyway, I eventually got it set up and for what I use it for it’s been ok since.

Best thing ever! It's essentially a tablet with good speakers. Great for not only music, but as a tv as well. I watch Youtube on it every day. Runs on Android so it works as a phone would, Google Playstore, Gmail, etc. BE WARNED, THE OS DOES NOT UPDATE FOR SOME REASON.
