A supplement I definitely found good use for
Dr. WellMe Nutrition's LipineRve supplement is R-Alpha Lipoic Acid. There are 30 capsules in a box with two blister packs/cards, each containing 300 mg. of R-(+)-Lipoic Acid Sodium Salt. The cards have tear-off sections so that you can take one capsule with you if you're going to be out when you want to swallow it. The capsules are designed to be taken once daily with a meal. The capsules are very easy to swallow with liquid and have no discernible flavor or scent. Like any supplement, the box contains directions for use.

Pricey
I am reviewing the Dr.WellMe Lipinerve R Alpha Lipoic Acid 300mg.When I purchase supplements, I look for several criteria before settling on a brand to purchase, having already researched the supplement itself and making the decision to try it.Is this supplement produced in a GMP compliant facility? There is nothing on the package to indicate this.Is this supplement certified organic or non-GMO? There is nothing on the package to indicate this.Does it contain fillers? NoThen, on arrival there are a few more criteria I use to decide if I am comfortable ingesting the supplement. Are the outer neckband and inner seal intact? Each capsule is individually sealed in a blister pack.Is the expiration date far enough out for me to use them before they begin to deteriorate? These have an expiration date of August 2025. Does the supplement look as expected? Yes.Other notes:I have been taking R-ALA for some time now. These look the same as the brand I take. I like that each capsule contains 300 mg, as that is the dose recommended by my doctor. I have had difficulty finding 300 mg in a single capsule and end up taking multiples. With my current brand, I pay $0.39 per 300 mg dose. This supplement comes in at $1.00 per 300 mg dose. It is not cost efficient to use this product.I don’t care for the blister packaging. I have arthritic hands and I find these packages to be more difficult to open. This package has a manufacturing date of August 2022, so they are already over a year old, but were first available on Amazon in September 2023.

Seems like an excellent R-ALA supplement
This is a review of “Dr.WellMe Lipinerve R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 300mg Capsules Per Serving - an Antioxidant Supplement, Kosher | Halal 30 Count - Made in USA”. I’m including the item name to guard against any future review hijacking.Alpha-lipoic acid is a potent antioxidant, and is one of those supplements that seems to be particularly prone to overzealous marketing. This particular example is relatively low-key in that regard. It’s nevertheless true that the claim that ALA may be helpful in diabetic neuropathy is actually fairly well founded scientifically, which is helpfully noted on the package.I seem to remember ALA being prohibitively expensive for regular use back in the day, so it’s nice to see it dropping in price and becoming more accessible with time. This example isn’t the lowest-priced on the market, but it’s priced within reason for an enantiopure product, which is effectively twice as potent as “standard” racemic ALA containing R- and S- forms in equal proportion. Whether it’s worth it will depend upon how much you trust the manufacturer to deliver a high-quality product. For my part, I’ll say that I’m well impressed with the overall look and feel of this supplement. To me, the choice of a blister pack seems like a deliberate choice, inviting comparisons to regular pharmaceuticals that are packaged and manufactured to higher standards. I’d therefore recommend this product if you’re looking for a representative higher-end R-ALA supplement, and would consider it worth a trial run if you’re currently using a cheaper R-ALA or ALA.

Convenient Blister Packaging, Quality Supplement
Dr.WellMe Lipinerve R Alpha Lipoic Acid comes in 300mg Capsules and is packaged in convenient blister packaging. The capsules are average sized with no noticeable smell or taste.I am taking these for the antioxidant effects. An important note to this supplement is that it should be stored below 77* Fahrenheit. As far as the reliability of the company, the packaging states, Drwellme is manufactured in the USA. The additional information on their website indicates that they use GMP approved facilities. They also mention that their formulations are vegan, cruelty free, non GMO, with no artificial colors. Another interesting fact about the company is that they are a woman-owned, minority-owned, and family-owned business,

Good product, wish it came in a bottle
I’ve heard much about ALA’s benefits and was taking a lower dose ALA supplement—but this one has a higher per-capsule dose and having to deal with fewer capsules is always good, so I decided to try this one.So far so good—although my reasons for taking ALA are mostly preventative, so it’ll be hard to say if there are overt effects. When you take preventatives, no news is good news, basically. The one thing I find a little annoying is that the capsules come in blister packs and not a bottle. Therefore, with every dose you’re messing with the blister pack (and I put a week of pills at a time into a pill organizer). Maybe blister packs are cheaper to make or have less stuff to recycle, but I’m just much more of a bottle fan, and I find ways to recycle them with a couple hobbies I’m engaged in. I’d also love a larger shipment if the company makes them. 30 capsules will last a month, which is not that much time when you’re busy like I am. Thus far I’m happy with the product itself, though.

Nerve support supplement
This is a 30 day supply and to really see the benefits of this supplement I would need to continue taking these to do so. Most supplements take months to work their way into your system. Easy to swallow capsules but longer term use is needed for recognizable effects. A little costly for 30'days
