I bought this based on Tiktok videos (I know, I know!) and used the entire jar, as directed. It had no significant scent; melted easily, and kept well. However, I did not see nor feel any difference at all. Did it do something? Maybe; but I couldn't justify the cost based on the lack of impact over the course of the months I used it.UPDATE: I am adding a star for great customer service because the company reached out to me after this review. Based on that outreach, they clearly stand strongly behind their product, and it could have been that I just didn't have any severe hormonal symptoms that would enable me to notice any difference.

I would highly recommend this for men or women. A little goes a long way. My only issue is that the texture is not consistent. However, that’s something I can easily overlook if they continue to keep it as effective as it is. It doesn’t stay greasy, it’s easy to use & absorbent. We love the smell, too. Make sure you free up your evenings - you’ll be busy. *wink*

I started using this under my PC physician's care. I was weaned off hormone replacement medications for months before starting this experiment cream, with another family member with same issues, that was also under her PC physician's care during her process/experiment with Genesis wild yam cream. It is a proven fact that this product does NOT help with hormone imbalance or function in any way. We did blood work while on hormone replacement prescriptions before we weaned off the meds, as well as during the beginning stages of taking this wild yam cream, up on till our results came back September 20, 2024. We started with this brand of Genesis wild yam cream in May 2024 using the cream as directed daily and continued for 5 months. This product does NOT help with hot flashes, night sweats, or any other hormonal issue you may have pre or post Menopausal. This company is telling lies upon lies. We had our lab work done at three different lab companies in Texas and two different lab companies out of state. All came back the same. Hormones were extremely low, way out of balance, and it did nothing for menstrual cramps or hormonal issues. Product does NOT have the active ingredients it claims to have. I will say if you're looking for a VERY EXPENSIVE and decent moisturizer that makes you smell like sweet potato pie and stains your clothes, by all means, have at it. You'd be better off purchasing a 32oz plastic jug of organic coconut oil and putting in your favorite essential oils for that. You'd definitely be saving money and getting the same results. Seriously, DON'T fall for their LIES and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. This product is not worth the $2 jar they putt their scented coconut oil in. Yes, the experiment was expensive for us, but we really wanted to believe that something organically grown could really work. Someone out there might actually have the correct product for these issues, but listen when I tell you, this company does NOT have the item we all seek. Wasted time, money,and hope onsimeone trying to get rich off people. Makes me sick! If you want to see for yourselves, get your blood work taken, the facts are all there. I'd give zero stars if it was allowed. I'm hoping Amazon pulls this product and all others from companies and sellers, like Genesis, that are FALSE ADVERTISING and putting out a product that does NOT do what they claim.

I LOVE wild yam cream. It is the best product I have found to help treat with hormonal imbalance . I have been using another brand and had heard really good things about this specific brand. I was so excited to finally have this and to use it. When I opened the packaging I noticed the outside of the jar very oily. The product was only 3/4 of the way full. I mean I know this isnt super expensive, but I am disabled and on a fixed income. It was a big purchase for me. I have stage 3 Congestive heart failure and there aren’t very many products I can use to treat the hormonal imbalance issues. I am assuming the product leaked out of the container. I set the wild yam cream on my nightstand without realizing how oily it was. I ruined my cover I have on my nightstand. It’s stained with oil. So now I will have to buy another. I am very excited to use the cream. I really feel I was cheated out of a full jar. I am not returning it because I am all out of the previous wild yam cream. I know this product works great. I use it for my hot flashes and hormonal imbalance. It does feel really nice on the skin. It isnt oily at all when used topically on skin. Leaves the area where I applied it so nice and smooth. Hopefully someone will help me with this issue.
