what happens when you find yourself in a position in which you disagree with the beliefs of your denominational church about Israel even the end times .This book represents such a scenario which in a similar fashion has happened to me . Pastor Shane a graduated seminary student ,returns to his old church and pastor and is immediately confronted with the question if he has abandoned Israel .in the first few chapters the scene of church and family is set and gradually the enquiry from church elders begins and Shanes discourse with his pastor George ensues

Very anointed and easy to read
Loved the book. Normally don't see fiction as teaching but this is great teaching disguised as a fiction book. I got the sample first and really felt the prescence of God so I bought the book. Finished it in my third sitting, it was so good. Dispensationalism or futurism has such a hold and I was into it. for 35 years. Now I see it as a theory that quotes scripture to support it. And its bad theology. Partial preterism releases you into a better place to see the Scriptures as they really are, helps you be more optimistic about the future and makes the OT prophets more relevant to now. This book gives new ideas to combat hardened ideas and its a blessing!

Stan Newton's intriguing introduction to Biblical eschatology through two pastor's conversations
Stan has captured the essence of a victorious eschatology (study of 'last things') that is becoming widely accepted today, though much misunderstood. Using the captivating discussions between two pastors at opposite ends of eschatology, Stan helps the reader to understand Scriptural prophecy in its proper context. He uses this very delightful, though strained, interchange between these two pastors to clarify Israel's position in history and helps explain the fact that the Biblical Israel, as a nation and as a religion, was destroyed...completely. For those truly seeking to understand the Church, Israel, and eschatology, this story is a great beginning. It is not long, and you probably won't put it down until you finish it. Stan has made it easy to understand, and for that I am grateful.

Excellent book!
I had never heard of theological fiction before, but I am inspired to perhaps try writing it for myself in the future. This book discusses some deep theological issues in an entertaining and engaging way, making even the deep things of God available for all who read it.

Truth
Loved the book. I'm not a fast reader but found this book was hard to put down and was wishing for more when finished. Revealed more scriptural truth regarding Israel and victorious escatology than I had previously considered. Also connected with the struggle trying to free people from old mindsets deeply entrenched. Review written by Steve, Jeanette's husband.
