Strong double lights very useful for spotlight illumination of outdoor features. Large area flat charging panel and relatively large rechargeable storage battery provides many hours of evening illumination. Not sure about lifetime since I've only had running for about 3 months; still happy with performance.

So, I've no problem paying extra for the versatility of having the solar panel on a 14-foot cord. Hopefully, they will hold up to Florida's raining season. I will update accordingly. So you get the light and panel, plus the stakes to put into the ground, or screws and anchors in case you want to drill the panel to a wall. They are made of plastic . . . but they seem solidly built. They have a bit of heft to them, not so light that you fret they won't last the week.The power button people have complained about. It's true that once you press the button, you've no idea if you've turned the light on or off. Seems a silly oversight on their part. But as the solar panel reads the surrounding light, I just press it against my chest. If the light doesn't go on, I know it's off.I put mine in flower pots filled with rocks because I wanted to be able to protect them a bit from the crappy yard which is more dirt, mud and weeds than anything else. They don't give off a HUGE amount of light. Remember, the camera is more light sensitive than our eyes. But I am satisfied with the light they do give off since I my house is set back from the street and there are no other light sources.

I wanted these lights for my back yard. I had 2 separate statues that I wanted lighted and they were quite a distance from each other. And they were in too much shade during the day to us a traditional solar light.This was the perfect solutions. No regrets!

Well designed and very functional in that provisions are provided to mount the solar panel on a flat surface with adequate cabling to place the light fixtures where needed.

I’m using these to illuminate part of my walkway and driveway in a very dark neighborhood.First of all, I had to wait for a second set to be shipped to me. The first set was missing parts and had a very weathered lens as shown in the first picture.The set outside now looked perfect. Both lights have crystal clear lenses. The solar panel is set off just enough to catch much of the daytime sun. The lights are reasonably bright, allowing for gentle illumination of the area.I still cannot get past the first light heads. So, I’m going to keep an eye on the lights as weather moves through. For now though, I’m satisfied that these will hold up!

Bought this to light a fountain which is in shade.Nicely built and simple and efficient design. Only possible improvement, I wish the cable was sturdier so that I could bury it in ground without an additional conduit.Update 7/19- The light started flickering since yesterday night. Contacted seller and will update with future developments.Update 7/20- The seller promptly got back to me and said the flickering is due to low charging of the solar panel. This adds up, because it started on a cloudy day. Now I am completely okay if the light turns off after few hours, or doesn't come on due to low or no charge on cloudy days, but I can't take it flickering all night!Probably going to return it, but just buried the line underground, which sucks.Update 8/3-Seller suggested to charge it straight for 2-3 days before using again. Did that and the flickering seems to have gone away. May be was a temporary glitch.

Not bright enough.

Very effective and delighted with this purchase. The light does exactly what I wanted it to do from day one.
