I know this is advertised as a foot file, but I use it to get paint off my skin. It works brilliantly. I have tried various methods and none seemed to be as successful as this little sander. It removes paint very easily and doesn't irritate my skin. Other methods I've tried were either taking a long time, scratching and hurting, leaving me with itchy rashy skin or just not working at all. So I'm very pleased with it. I'm sure it works just fine on foot callus too.The only thing is the price. If I saw it at the store I would just walk by it. A thin wood stick with sanding paper glued to it for 7 bucks? Nah.But I'm glad I've tried it. It's definitely worth it.

I've needed a foot file to use dry like this for some time. I use a grater-type tool when I'm in the bath. but I need to use a dry tool like this before taking a shower because I don't have a seat in my shower.I'm very pleased with the effectiveness of this sanding tool. It restored my thick and cracked heels to a smooth surface very quickly. It is simple but well made, and I'm hoping the sanding surface will stay effective for a reasonable period of time. The price of $6.99 is fair if it holds up over time.

I like the ease of use of this foot sander. Previous foot sanders I have had, have been much smaller (sponge like). The long handle on this file makes it much easier to use. There is also a string on the handle that allows me to hang it in the shower rather than have it take extra space on my already overcrowded shower shelves. The handle is bamboo, so it is suitable for keeping in the shower where I like to keep mine. Both sides of this file have the same coarseness - a light coarseness which is sufficient for daily maintenance of your feet. I personally prefer to have the option of a double-sided file with two different levels of coarseness light and medium/hard, and I feel this option would make this foot sander better.

If you have rough skin on your heels, this pumice stone scrubber/file will definitely help. 👍 I have used the shavers with razor blades in the past; but those can be dangerous, especially if you break the skin. The razor blades can get dull and rusty, then you need to buy replacements. This scrubber is a much safer and inexpensive alternative. I recommend using this scrubber right after you shower or bathe. A good option! My heels can get pretty bad over the summer. This helps, but I have used a metal one I like better. I use immediately after shower, then lotion. You have to use consistently to see progress! This is decently strong and does not bend when I’m scrubbing my heels.

I think this listing is misleading by showing two files in the photo , so I removed one star for that reason. It comes with just one. Otherwise I think this is a nice product. I appreciate the long handle it makes it much easier to use than other styles of pumice stones. It works great if you soak your feet or use right after the shower/bath. Has a rope loop to make it easier to hang and store.

Bamboo handle foot file works well. Two sided with different textures allows you to sluff off rough skin, then switch to smoothing. Works well in the shower then hung up to dry. Handle fits well in my hand and allows for a good grip.

This is nice that the handle is long enough to get a good angle to scrub your heels. Leverage is important to give you the strength you want. This one has that. Also a nice touch is that it has two different grits so you can polish and get less of a strength if you need it. The hanging loop makes it easy to keep out of the way but still be where you need it. Works well after a bath or shower when your feet are more soft.
