Red WingMen's Work Chukka

I love Red Wing shoes. I currently own four pairs, of which two pairs of these Chukka's: the Briar Oli Slicks and the Oro-iginals.These are very handsome boots. The Oro-iginals get my nod when it comes to style. Wasn't a fan of the original yellow-and-red laces however, so I replaced them with dark brown Blacksmith style laces. This makes them look even more awesome.Like all Red Wings, the quality of these boots is unparalleled. I bought my regular size and they fit great. The break in period was quite short; about ten days. And without any blisters to speak of.

These boots are incredible. I've worn them for a few days in a row and whilst a little uncomfortable at first, I can tell that they are going to be super comfy once the leather softens. They feel like an excellent quality pair of boots and I would definitely recommend them. Don't be put off by the price, my bother wore through a pair of CAT boots half the price of these in 9 months! These will be with me for years!!!

This is my first pair of Red Wings, I expected them to be a bit softer, they're really difficult to put on and the leather is tough. Perhaps this is a good sign and they'll wear in soon.

I've been a fan of these boots since I bought a pair in Amsterdam. Quite expensive there but still as comfortable as ever, even if a little scuffed now, but adding to the character. I obviously new the size I wanted so not a problem ordering over the net.I thought these latest ones were a bargain and a different colour to my older ones.

As usual superb quality as is the norm with Red wing boots. I have a few Red wings and they all size differently. I am sized as a 12 and unusually instead of dropping a size as I did with my Blacksmiths these were true to size and the 12 fitted perfectly.

One of the best pair of boots i have bought. Very well made, plenty of subtle style and worth every penny. Quality shoes and very comfortable.

Early days ( day 2 ), La fit, comfort, size is correct (which is always a concern without trying them first). Laces could be another inch or two longer to allow double knots.
