I had replaced and painted the outside steps and realized the first frost was going to make the steps very slippery and dangerous! Based on the price and previous reviews l decided on this brand. Packaging was an unmarked white box and the strips were rolled up inside. I simply rolled the treads in the opposite direction for a minute or so before removing the backing and then installed. For extra safety, I used two strips per step as they are very wide. First and second frost came and went and I felt safe standing/walking on these.

Last week my cycling shoes slipped on our concrete cellar steps and I fell down the entire flight. My wife told me to order these and they seem like they will work great! The grit is coarse and the adhesive is strong.Should have bought these a long time ago. So much safer!

They do exactly what I needed them to do, save my life everytime I go up and down the outside slipperiest staircase ever. These Lil inexpensive pieces of sand paper are the best!

I am using this tape on a ramp made with 2x 6 treated lumber. So far everything seems fine. I will send another report after a year or if it fails sooner than that.It's easy to apply to painted wood but follow directions which are on the sales info on Amazon and are not on or in the box that it comes with.

Put this tread on my 86 year old mother’s outdoor steps to make her steps safer. Within 1 month the edges were coming up & eventually the whole strip detached from most of the steps.

I live on the second story and my only access is by outside wooden steps. I have slipped and skidded on the stairs when they get wet, and thought this would resolve that issue. I applied them after we had a couple weeks of hot and sunny weather. They were easy to apply and seemed to adhere well.Unfortunately they started to loosen after we had one rainstorm. I used my staple gun to secure them, and that appeared to work for a while. We have since had several more rains and winds and the papers tore and/or blew off the steps.Not durable or a good quality for what their purpose is.

Perfect size for bay house steps!!!!
