I got this as an emergency back up battery for my phone, as well as being a NOAA radio and flashlight was a bonus. I wanted to get something that I could charge without power. This has the option of solar charging, and a must in survival scenarios, a hand crank. While it is true that the Solar charger is slow and the hand crank is slower, they will get you through. You can crank enough to get enough power to get out a text or a call. The hand crank can power the light and the radio better than it can charge the phone, but it still works. The hand crank is easy to turn and feels sturdy enough to crank without fear of breaking it off. The radio has NOAA as well as FM and AM. It has an antenna and works pretty well. Light is nice and bright. Hopefully you’ll never be in a scenario of prolonged power outage, but for the price the peace of mind is well worth it for me.

This little thing is amazing. It has a flashlight. Reading light. Radio. Antena. Sos alarm siren. Sub charger. Solar power and hand crank to charge....a most have for emergency. Storms or campingThe only negative is that I pay just a week ago 26 dollars and now is under 20...which Amazon would give discounts if goes on sale within a short time....

This little plastic radio is descent and the flashlight works. hand crank seems ok, but not sure about the solar charger. It’s cheaply made and there’s no way of reading to find out IF it’s working. Same for hand crank. You don’t get any reading to tell if/when it’s actually charging or how much.There’s a little light that comes on with usb charging but it seems it would also come on if solar, or hand crank were ACTUALLY charging. This sorta defeats the purpose since in an EMERGENCY power outage, the WHOLE purpose of these alternate charging abilities is LACK of electric power!So how is it helping in an ACTUAL power outage?

Small enough to tuck away in our camper, but will be so valuable for boondocking. Picked up several radio stations, flashlight is bright and boosting the charge by solar is a win.

Ian was my first major hurricane. I'd been through hurricanes before so I thought I knew what to expect. Not even. I expected to lose power and internet but we also completely lost cell service and had no idea what was going on for days. No news, no texting, calling, no anything. We were trapped and had zero outside contact and no idea what was going on or how much longer it would last. No power so no local TV. Couldn't go outside to start the generator because it was so bad out. When I opened this I loled because it is so tiny. But after messing with it I think this is the coolest gadget I've ever owned. Everything on it works great. Noaa coming in loud and clear, regular FM also pretty clear. Lights are super bright. Very handy. I pray we never have another Ian but I'll be happy to have this for any storm. I love that there are so many ways to charge it. Very handy. Also it kind of feels expensive if you know what I mean. Like it's really solid and sleek.

Just amazing what this little thing can do and produces great-sounding radio too! Battery, crank or solar power, flashlight, reading light, emergency beacon and siren, charge your cell phone. The only thing that would make it better is if it were waterproof.

I was so surprised when I got this product. It is a convenient size for camping and outside fun. We used it because our electric was out for four days in Ohio because of Hurricane Helene. The brightness of the light is great especially at night. The phone charging worked pretty well at first, but once we started using the radio it didn't work.The features are awesome. The radio stations tuned in exceptional. The NOAA weather radio and SOS features will be helpful when needed. We will be buying more of these for family and friends. This has been such a lifesaver. Thank you for this product. It helped us through this difficult time.
