A fun and innovative future dystopian cyberpunk LITRPG story
A LITRPG cyberpunk story, based on a future Earth that is nearly a century from now. The world model is totally different from the present, yet still recognizable from existing technical and social trends. The 1% own nearly everything, and the 99% are nearly the equivalent of corporate serfs or even slaves in all but name. Although the world model is a depressing (it is a dystopian future after all), the story is well written and a good read. The MC is a 24 year old female, living hand to mouth as a welder. She is a nice person that gets involved inadvertently in an adventure that thrusts her into a whole new life. She obtains an incredible implant from a dying man that stole it, and can never look back because the evil corporation that developed it will look for her and kill her no matter what her future actions. The MC has spunk, and starts a new life as a hacker, taking full advantage of the personal AI (PAI) she now "owns" to both hide and to improve herself. The world model is detailed and well thought out. The LITRPG elements are spartan, but logical; they mainly consist of improved knowledge training from her PAI, and upgrades she adds to her body to take better advantage of her new PAI (like eye replacements, and a better data port). Character development is also well done. The plotlines are fun to read, full of action.I bought book 1 as a reward to the author, after reading it first on Kindle Free.

Great read!
Cyberpunk 2077 much?? Great pacing and character development. Normally I can't stand heroines, but this book pulled me in. I didn't feel overwhelmed or annoyed at the constant state of female emotional turmoil you often find with heroines or the confusing and erratic state of mind that male authors often substitute due to their lack of familiarity with female psychology. No stupid decision making mixed with proper amounts of naivety. I love the world building as well as all the other knick-knacks and tech. Well done!

Great cyberpunk story!
I've been playing a lot of Cyberpunk 2077, so I kept visualizing scenes from the game while reading this. But, while there are a lot of similarities, this book doesn't take place in the same world.Things I like about this book,Well written world, but if you have read other cyberpunk stories, it can help with the understanding the background setting.Great characters. I like that the main character has a good mix of being a newbie and not understanding how to do things, but not being so ignorant that it's annoying to watch her fail.

One of the best Kindle Unlimited books I’ve read in years!
This is easily one of the best written Sci-Fi books I’ve read in years. It’s right up there with some of the best classics in the cyberpunk genre (Neuromancer, Snow Crash, etc). Well worth the read, especially as a Kindle Unlimited book.

Excellent Cyberpunk
At the time of this review there are currently 4 books on kindle and I blew through them all in a week. There's just enough crunch in the world building without getting bogged down, there's just enough punch in the action, and there's excellent character work to put that action into the world.

Gritty
New take on a possible dystopian future. Governments seemed to have disappeared completely from this future so foreign affairs are strangely absent. Still the plucky rebels are doing well in their fight against corporations, which are still the bad guys. Good action, interesting characters, enough twists to make this a start well worth reading the next book.

Awesome start to a cyberpunk series
Awesome cyberpunk series.I loved this. It's very well paced, believable and intriguing. It strikes a good balance between dystopian hopelessness and a hi-tech future.A great read and a great series.

Good take on the high tech low life
Good plot ( not that kind, go to horny jail) likable rogues, good suspenseful action. Great world building. Full marks for what it is, an honest, traditional take on the cyberpunk genra. I loved it.

Enjoyable cyberpunk story
Reads well, has the right grimy cyberpunk vibe but lacks the relentless soul crushing element you see with the cp2077 stuff. It's dark but this setting has some hope and light to it.The MC is interesting, the initial power ramp at the start is almost pushing the bounds of plausibility somewhat, but as the story progresses it gets better.
