Hook, Line, and Sinkers. Lol, but for reals, you have everything in this little fishing kit but the fish you’re going to be catching. My daughter has been totally off the walls excited about her new fishing kit. She’s been going out fishing with me this past summer and has been enjoying reeling in daddy’s fish. But now, she has her own fishing pole, her own tackle box, and a cool bag to carry it all. We haven’t been able properly break it in yet with all this colder weather blowing around, but soon for sure.The quality is definitely a match of all Plussino fishing equipment. They make a great product and this is another one to add to the list. My favorite part is the rod itself. It is light weight and balanced nicely for a kid to use and learn on. The best part of it is the grip, it is made of this soft nice foam material that is pleasing to grip and hold onto.Overall this is a great starter set for any kid that wants to be like their parent/grandparent. The cost is perfect for the amount of gear you receive and it’s ready to be fished with right out of the box. And it comes with its own little fishing bag to conveniently carry and keep everything together with. I like it, and my daughter loves it. I can’t wait to officially break it in.

This is a great first kids fishing rod and reel! My daughter loves it and it's her favorite color. It comes with a wonderful travel case and the compartments inside not only keep the rod in place but they can hold additional tackle. The rod itself is very sturdy for a kids pole. I like the detail taken to put a nice protective covering over the end of the rod for storage. The reel was a great quality and easy for my daughter to handle. It didn’t come with a large amount of line on it, but that's okay we can add more!. The drag is good and it held up when put to the test. I was able to bring in some good size fish with no problems. The tackle that came with it was good. It even had bobber stops and beads that's a plus in my book. There was a lot of detail put into this kit. Im pretty darn happy! If you're looking for a beginning fishing pole for any kid, I would highly recommend this one. This is our second so the kiddos wouldn't fight over who got to use it first :)To start off, the pole is a telescoping pole which is an awesome feature for storage. Even with the telescoping feature, the pole is still very strong. The pole is easy to put together and easy to take apart. The reel is a quality piece and has lasted through a few trips into the drink.The kit comes with a few jigs as well as bare hooks, weights, etc. Haven't had much luck with the jigs, but the hooks hold a nightcrawler or hot dog just fine :)The carrying case has a few pockets - plenty large enough to hold a pliers, stringer and a knife. The size of the entire kit makes it easy to toss in a backpack and take on hikes - makes breaking up the miles easy, especially with little ones.Overall, highly recommend. As I stated before, this is our second, so we must like it!
