New Burlap Favor Bags With Drawstring 3x5" - Pack Of 24 Bags Small

We had a baby shower for my niece in the fall, so we used these to go along with our fall/pumpkin theme. We filled them with sample sizes of hand lotion, hand sanitizer, lip balm, and a small emery board. We tied them with a blue ribbon and they really turned out cute. I would have given five stars, but there were lots of strings that we had to cut off from about half the bags. Would buy these again though.

Overall these worked fine for me- I used them for party favors. There was some fraying at the top of many of them, but I suppose that's to be expected with burlap. My main complaint is that I felt the tie strings were too thick. They worked perfect to close the bags, but I just thought they would have looked a little nicer with thinner ties. My mom helped with the favors and compared them to shoelaces, and I felt that was pretty accurate. We actually tried substituting a thinner string, but they weren't strong enough to pull the bags closed, so I can understand why these needed a thicker string.

These things were pretty much as expected -- perhaps a tad more "rustic" than I thought they'd be. Note that there is a bit of variance in them -- I ordered 100 3x5 bags, and I'd say that those measurements were the average: Some were 3x5, some were 3.5 x 4.5, some were 2.75 x 4.5, etc. As long as rustic is ok and your measurements don't have to be exact, then you'll be fine.

These bags came promptly, thank you. My only complaint is that each bag is not exactly the same size, making it really difficult to use all of them for our wedding favors. Some were so small that we could use them at all, they just looked silly next to the regular sized bags. I recommend this retailer do a better job of quality control before they send them out to customers. Also, the rope that is used to tie the bags shut is extremely thick and too large for the size of the bag making them look awkward. The tie is much bigger than the pictures indicate.

They were perfect size for what I needed...however, I ended up restringing them with a white silk ribbon and stamped a design on them

The smell was awful! I realize there will be some type of chemical odor, but this was ridiculous! I had to air the bags out and then Febreeze them and then apply a vanilla mist spray and still there was a smell. Not nearly as bad as when I bought them but definitely the smell was still there. The bags were well constructed, small but well constructed.

These were perfect for my sister's wedding to use as favor holders for guests However, many of them were coming part at the stich seams, before we even began filling them.
